It was a weird, weird, weird shitshow. Awkward as hell. All of them.

Harper fumbled and "let me be clear"'d his way through approximately 1 repetitive talking point, May aggressively headbutted to achieve... nothing, Trudeau was green as hell the entire time, and Mulcair was either a deer caught in the headlights or a serial killer. I was freaked either way.

I found it pretty clear Mulcair killed it compared to the other three, but I see this comment being made about every other candidate too. Ridiculous. Next round will be much better.

Which is a shame because that debate was way too early on. It was subpar in terms of content.

I thought it was interesting that Quebec's independance was a hot topic despite the fact that Duceppe wasn't even there.
Anyways, Harper has never been a good debater and that hurdle is out of the way.

I think we have a weak crop of leaders. As much as I despise Harper, I don't think Trudeau is much better. At the very least, I don't think he's ready to be PM.
As for Mulcair, I have reserves and not quite sure what he stands for. I think he's a populist. Catering to Quebec with his support of the 50%+1. Told Alberta he was pretty much in favor of more pipelines.
I don't know if I trust the guy.
