Counterpoint: He's an evil person doing absolutely nothing other than pack the judicial to further "conservative values", which is to say "make lives, specifically the lives of women and minorities, appreciably worse and more difficult". Eight year old Mitch gets all my sympathy. Nearly 80 year old Mitch? Fuck him.

Edit: to take this a bit further...the GOP platform, in part, has been to invent physical ailments in order to cast the opponent as unqualified. Hillary was a cyborg. Joe's brain is rotted and oozing out of his ears. Trump says it, Fox News runs with it, and the party either says nothing or something in the form of "well I haven't seen proof that it isn't true so..." Fuck them and fuck him.
