Just bought two copies of COIL's The Ape of Naples on clear vinyl (one as a Christmas gift for my friend and myself) and the New Backwards.

Hell fucking yes, been wanting these for a while. Ape of Naples is how I got into COIL (Heard Tattooed Man on the radio of all places).

Got my first VinylMePlease release and I really have to hand it to them as this record is stop notch quality!

Sadly it showed up with a decent dent in a corner and I'm going to see if they can replace it

that's not much of a dent and is definitely just from shipping. i should have taken a picture of the severely damaged copy of Add Violence amazon shipped me (x-mas gift for a friend)

This is what happens when a friend says: "So, I have a spare ticket to a show on Friday night..." I can safely say I have really missed out on the last 10 years. Kicking my own ass right now. Anyway, Newbury Comics had a 25% off vinyl sale this past weekend, and I just got really lucky that they had those variants in stock otherwise I would have grabbed the black vinyl versions. I think they had an extra copy of Meliora (single LP Coke Bottle), if you don't have it I can see about going back there this weekend and trying to grab it.

I don't really need a duplicate of the album but if it's under 22.99 I'll say yeah!

Finally got around to buying another receiver and turntable...not bad for $60 via goodwill. The turntable is a temp one (yucky belt-driven) but for now it allows me to listen to my records which is cool. Got the LE of the latest U2 album for $10 shipped via Discogs and also added Grimes to my collection.

Hey folks! I'm relatively new to ETS, but this thread has already cost me a bunch of money, haha. I've discovered so much neat music thanks to it (my wife and I love that Shout Out Louds record mentioned a while back.)

I've even got a fledgling discogs account, but it'll take a while to get everything in there. (Been collecting and listening to records since 1996 or so.)
