Both of those G Sides and D-Sides sound fantastic (great inherent volume). If you're a Gorillaz fan, check them out (and the G Sides is the Japanese CD track listing, so I actually had new songs to listen to).

Sade's Complete Discography is getting reissued as a boxset:
    https://store-us.sade.com/product/Y4...-albums-boxset

The title of the boxset seems to tease the idea of new music coming soon!

Anyone picking up the Waxworks RZ Halloween vinyl releases? Just preordered both, the artwork is too good.

Holy shit thanks for the heads up. Missed out last year as RSD dropped almost exactly on the day my son was born so I missed out lol. I wonder if this means the reissue will be more widespread in general...time to check out the local shops lol.

This has bed reviews on discogs but my copy was clean out of the sleeve and in good condition. Maybe I'm an anomaly. I'll find out tonight or tomorrow when I spin it.

i also went with the mondo one (for both worries about the sound complaints and because i HATE that orange/blue cover art & vinyl colors) and it sounds phenomenal.

Evidently all of them are bad with crackling, pops and hissing. I spun the first LP today and encountered a little noise in quiet spots but overall sounds good to me. I might not be THAT much of an audiophile as others so maybe it's a pass for me and others it's a no. My worst sounding albums are both Mondo Death Waltz pressings of Twin Peaks OST and Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With me OST. They're nice but noisy.

I was going to go with it I didn't want to spend 40.00 + shipping costs this time. It's a great looking package though. Knowing my stupid ass I probably should've.

New Gorillaz and Trent Reznor releases this week have meant a slightly expensive week.

I had a snarky/funny response about a $35 release compared to a $200+ release and then I saw that The Social Network was on the store as well.

dammit, it is an expensive week.

4 of my most wanted records arrived within 2 days of each other. 2020 just got a little bit brighter.

May have to brave the covid crowd to snag that Hackers OST next weekend. Also hoping that repress of The Crow OST finds its way to a store or two here next month as well.

Every year there's one that slips through. No hackers for me.
Coolio, Nas, Mortal Kombat, and ODB will have to do.

very jealous, all the store I went to had was Batman & Robin (I was tempted, but not $42 tempted). I picked up the Baby Shark disc (apparently from 2019?) because my nephew loves the little baby shark plush we have for him so this should be fun. The owner of the store told me that she had so many of them that I could take two so I got one for my MIL who also babysits him so she can have fun too!

    *evil laugh here*

I also grabbed a double of Sap/Jar of Flies from Alice in Chains. Now that is worth the $42. Their best album, sonically speaking.
