I seriously love the attention Mondo gives to their releases....
And I did.
Also for Adventure Time fans.
Haven't bought myself a really good vinyl set in a while, so as a reward for myself for having a recent really good credit score, I treated myself to this set and I couldn't be more happy. Look at this fucking beauty!!
30th Anniversary 7xLP set for U2's Joshua Tree, that includes the album, b-sides, outtakes, remixes, live at Madison Square Garden, a packet of giclee prints, and a photo book, housed in a bespoke gold foil stamped shell. HOT DAMN.
Just got like 6 records this past week. I'll take some photos.
This also just shipped! Cannot wait!
Hey @richardp , how much did that U2 record set you back? This was my big purchase when I was in Tokyo two years ago (its still sealed too!)
I found one on eBay that was still sealed for $120, and was cheaper because one of the corners is slightly dented. The dent isn't even that noticeable either.
Very jealous of that Achtung set. I still want that set so damn bad. I don't know if that shit will ever be available at the price that I got the Joshua Tree set for though.
I hate U2 (mostly) but I was recently tempted to buy Achtung Baby this but I didn't do it. Wasn't a bad price either. It's the 25th anniversary press version.
P.S. Achtung Baby and Zooropa are good albums.

^^Wow, that’s impressive! I saw ZJ for the first time last year and loved her performance. She was at the merch table after the show and we chatted briefly and she signed two records I bought. Unfortunately, I was unable to see her tour with Alice Glass.
I should probably check her out. I first heard of her on the collab track she did on the last-but-one Orbital album (Wonky) and I didn't like that much; but I read or heard something else that led me to believe I'd probably actually quite like her.
updated the music area. its half movie, and toy stuff now - maybe i should just stay in the toy thread ha. i recently (and reluctantly) had to sell off around 900 records out of the 1200 that i've accumulated over the last 12 years or so. it broke my heart, but it had to be done. of all the times throughout life where desperate moments require you to sell your loved possessions this one hurt the most, beating out when i had to sell my four synthesizers when i was 19. after selling everything i didnt really spend time in this room, listen to vinyl, or do anything with it for a few weeks. i had a rare day off of work and decided to make this room start feeling like my favorite place again. its a start
