    I picked up

    The White Stripes - Elephant
At The Drive-In - Relationship Of Command
    Foals - Holy Fire
    Nick Cave - Animal X
    Deftones - Live Selections: Adrenaline

I REALLY wanted The Cure - Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me but someone grabbed the last copy right in front of me. So if anyone knows of a place with extra copies of that, and can hook me up, let me know!

Left my house at 5am and arrived at my local record shop at around 5:45am, the queue was 200+ people strong. Fuck that, so walked literally 5 minutes down the road to another record shop and was the first in line. I stood there alone for a good 45 mins before five or six other people joined me for the 9am opening. The other place was giving out free goodie bags. Go figure!

I grabbed a few things today.

    Biggie - Ready to Die
    Placebo - B3 EP
    Roky Erikson RSD single thing
    Joan Jett for a friend
Loads of other deals that weren't RSD only releases.

Really wanted GZA's Liquid Swords 4LP Chess Edition. One in my whole town and I failed. Will try to pick up that Cure album as well. Had it in hand and passed.

This was the first year in 3 years that I couldn't take part in RSD So sad too, I missed out on some LPs that I really wanted. Thankfully though a friend of mine picked up the 10th anniversary of Elephant! Now I dont have to worry about playing my original pressing

This website seems to be selling it, but you can only order if you are a verified member (I also doubt the legitimacy of it).
It's already popping up on ebay. What was the actual price for this? Are they going to be selling them at gigs? (Is that even possible with RSD releases?)
Well that was what I was able to gather past couple of days. I should've woke up earlier on RSD.

The APTBS record was $18.99 at the store I bought it at (12" record and MP3 download of the album). I had to go to 2 stores before I found 1 copy.

I just got the remastered edition of ultra. I gotta say... It sounds HORRIFIC. nothing but tons of static. It makes it almost unlistenable. Anybody else had this issue? With this release or other releases for that matter?

yeah i haven't picked up any of them either. i have all the original pressings of the 80s records, speak and spell through and including music for the masses, and most, if not all of the basic issue 12''s with remixes/b-sides, etc. i have exciter on vinyl (bought when it came out) and i recall it sounded nice and warm, but don't really have much interest in collecting the 90s-present on wax, with the exception of violator, which i'd kill for. i have a few 12''s from the era, but not the album proper. hoping one day i'll stumble upon it.

i have an original copy of violator i picked up at a record fair when i visited philly in the fall of 2010. the sleeve is in "GOOD-" condition and the record is in "GOOD+" condition (on a record grading scale), plays fine. i'll let you know if i ever feel like parting with it.

I just picked up a copy here.
    http://www.discogs.com/sell/list?rel...d=524566&ev=rb

I sold a ton of vinyl a few years back. And i regret getting rid of a lot of it. so I've been refilling my needs with Discogs. Good prices on violator there.

is your pressing of 13th step as shitty as mine? mine is SO thin and a little warped and the sound quality is really, really awful. (as opposed to mer de noms, which is a nice weight, with no warping, and sounds fantastic)

you've got a LOT of really good taste, my friend. our record collections overlap in quite a few places.

My pressing of 13th Step is 180g. Bought it on Amazon a year ago. Sounds great.
