ah, ok. What did that set you back? I see used copies go for $300+

So uhh...I managed to snag this mega boxset deal on Prime Day for $19.98 + tax (its now back up to $133). 21 records total; each one contains his seven albums but they are mastered differently. I couldn't pass up such a good deal....

That's pretty cool actually... I'm glad they remastered it for the format.

Thanks again for this recommendation. My copy of Tom Petty showed up with a big crease in the mailer (via USPS)...I emailed them and they sent a replacement via UPS that day. Really great customer service. A+

Kind of a cool idea... releasing a series of 7" (first 7" with this order and then 3 more still to come) and a nice box to keep them in. Add the old 7" to the new stuff and it's almost a full box already...

They're out of blue and orange, but have 36 yellow and green left. https://www.rubellanremasters.com/on...nyl-p367791965

I can’t believe that fb kid pulled this off. For being a bootleg organized by some random kid in Europe in a Facebook group this thing is phenomenal. It has some pops here and there but the music lends itself to that kinda thing. He made his own hype sticker for it and even hand numbered x/110 foil stickers for them.

This is so tight and is now by far my favorite bootleg I own.

If you all are looking for the LCD Soundsystem "last show" at MSG, they are up on DFA for preorder. Me personally, I was at this show and didn't know they sold posters. So I am pumped to grab this up for the print too.

The Beginners Guide to Vinyl (Apple podcast link)

A decent show, but it is basic and circa 2017 (not that beginners info changes all that much... just preferences)

    The twin arrived! @bobbie solo

Bit of a line crease visible on the back when the ceiling light is on but nothing that bad.

I dropped my copy of Devo's Are We No Men? We Are Devo on the ground and now it has a scratch from the mid of Uncontrollable Urge to the middle of Satisfaction, and yes, it's audible. A NM pressing ruined. I don't know what happened, it's like I just lost control of my hands. I am so bummed.

It still plays, but now I'm forever reminded of my incompetence by some loud pops. I don't know if I should repress my urge to buy another copy on eBay/Discogs, or just do it.

Hmmm.... as much as I like the score (and I do), I don't think I need this version of it. Although, if I see it out in the wild and I have money burning a hole in my pocket, I will probably pick it up.

RECORD STORE DAY 2021 DROP 2

Tomorrow's the day, probably going to just skip the local shop - it's the size of a slightly large closet - and just head straight to Portland for the bigger store so I have a better selection.

Though "limited to 500 copies" means "probably not".

Managed to score Green Jelly 333 and St Vincent Piggy/Sad But True at RSD today. All I was after really. Pretty happy about it.

All I wanted was the St. Vincent 7", and I managed to find it online at a normal price.

All I wanted for this one was Chapterhouse's Rownderbowt compilation and the reissue of Tad's Inhaler and I happily managed to find both..

I'm all in for a bunch of nu metal albums getting first pressings on vinyl.

Was able to snag Fallujah's "The Harvest Wombs". Neat.
