The forthcoming Joy Division - Closer 40th anniversary reissue is apparently on some kind of ultra clear vinyl produced by some new manufacturing technique. I don’t know how much of this is marketing bull and how much is legit. Anyone seen anything like this?

Since quarantine I've been with 30 or so feet of my wife and toddler at nearly all times so my vinyl listening has been less than plentiful. However, we just moved the turntable into the bedroom so it's time to play catch up.

have issues with the turntable move, mostly in that I can't actually move it because it's on a sliding drawer that I forgot about so to put it anywhere else that sliding drawer won't be there. ugh.
But I did finally get a picture of the Annihilation vinyl.

@eversonpoe Haha thank you! I actually got it last week. It’s from a local records store out here by me called Stinkweeds. It says Stinkweeds on the other side but I had it turned around. I like to support local and it went with my furniture so I bought it. You can order it here if you’d like and they’ll ship.

41 new additions as of today, with still a few in the mail. Seeing them all almost fill an entire cube kind of put into perspective how much I've been spending.
I told you all I was making up for the money not being spent on concert tickets!
