Remember BT and e.g. "This Binary Universe"? Check this out, new album and special USB version with 48bit (!) WAVs and 4K videos, cool. I'd be interested in those "innovative techniques and (per BT) “insane” amounts of new sound design modalities".

I was about to post that video!

    This Binary Universe
is one of my all-time favorite albums, and while I loved If the Stars Are Eternal..., this new song feels like an even more authentic successor.

"Artifacture" utterly eviscerated my skull with its beauty. Nobody's music moves me quite the way BT's music does. I am so crazy excited for the rest of the album.

    Shaper - 1992

If you're a fan of the old skool hardcore warehouse rave and breaks scene, check out the new Shaper release 1992. It sounds and feels straight outta the early 90s yet new and fresh. Folks who love The Prodigy's Experience or Altern 8's Full On Mask Hysteria or Acen's 75 Minutes will feel right at home with this release.

    Get it now on Bandcamp...
    https://shaper-1992.bandcamp.com/releases

And it's rolling out across streaming services and in digital music stores this very minute...

Oh look, it's already on Spotify
    https://open.spotify.com/album/0xzhe...Q3ef87DtkakqUw

    Get your rave on!

If there are any bedroom producers or striving electronic music artists on here, a very well known Prodigy fan community is about to host an original music competition very soon. This will be our sixth volume in the Music From The Jilted Generation series. We are celebrating the upcoming new Prodigy album No Tourists and the 15th anniversary of our very first compilation released back in 2003. So if you got some original electronic music you would like to submit, shoot me a PM and I'll connect you with where you should go. Deadline will be sometime in mid-October with winners announced on November 1st with the Prodigy album dropping on the 2nd.

Guess I will post this hear. I recently bought Haunt Me, Haunt Me, Do It again by Tim Hecker. Safe to say as a casual fan for many years I am now in love with his music. I then proceeded to buy the rest of his discography and it will be here Thursday. His stuff sounds so amazing on my headphones. Great music to listen too and hear all that is going on.

The Prodigy drop their new single Light Up The Sky tomorrow, Sept. 26th!

The Chemical Brothers drop their new single Free Yourself on Friday!

Oh, and The Crystal Method drop their new album The Trip Home on Friday as well. So we had Meat Beat Manifesto's album Impossible Star that came out earlier this year as well as Orbital's Monsters Exist album and Aphex Twin's Collapse EP earlier this month. 2018? More like mid-90s all over again.

    So...

any other orbheads hangin' out around here?

Just got finished encoding all of my Orb albums on CD and I'm kinda surprised at how much I still get into them. Not every release connects the same way with me but as an overall thing, yeah, they work for me.
