What a great thread!

Without a doubt, one of my favorite pieces of music, arriving during my formative years: Aphex Twin Girl/Boy song. If I'm in the right place, this song makes me cry, it even did that back when I was stoic to a fault.

I remember suddenly discovering Aphex Twin when I was 19, this was the first EP I bought:

It has a special place in my heart, along with IZ-US. It was the first song I listened to when I moved into my own place when I was 19, lying on my back on the floor in my empty living room.
