From what I've gathered over the years, Fehn has never really been apart of the writing process. So I doubt that it will affect that songs themselves. But I do imagine that if the band is in the middle of a lawsuit, either all of his recorded parts will get axed or Sean will just re-cord all of them himself.
The statement about Chris was taken off the website. Interesting...
Also a possibility. It's worth noting that Chris is still listed as a member on their facebook, and that Chris and Corey still follow each other on social media. People in the SK sub really think this a PR stunt, which makes the least sense I believe. But even if they moved towards a resolution and made up, the fans there would claim it's a PR stunt.
Pssssshhhhhh. No fucking way it's a PR stunt. It makes zero sense, and doesn't do anything to their image other than make them look even more unstable and fractured than they already appear. What on earth could they possibly gain from this situation?
stolen from theprp.com: Guess he isn't their kind anymore.
The full details of Fehn's lawsuit are now public.
It's uhh....substantial.
I'm not a legal analyst (and neither is CoS because they didn't even sum it up in their post), but this is basically a legal filing of complaints Fehn is making against Slipknot and all involved parties and... that's it? Really nothing damning here.
It's a pretty standard lawsuit, and he's not even asking for damages, just an accounting of the money he thinks he's been missing out on.
It is a little surreal to see the way big bands like this have to be structured be laid out so formally. If the facts of the case are accurately presented here, it does seem like the band's management moved money around to benefit Clown and Corey more than the rest of the guys over the years, but this only reflects what Chris knows and is asserting, so there are likely other details he's not privy to that could damage his claims. Clown and Corey's attorneys might respond by asserting that Chris was given the opportunity to be informed about the financial arrangements but chose not to or something along those lines.
It'll be interesting to see it play out, if it doesn't get settled immediately.
Chris is still “employed by slipknot” per his lawyer. https://loudwire.com/chris-fehn-stil...d-by-slipknot/
If for some ungodly reason you wanted to hear Corey Taylor spit some bars...
That is objectively terrible.
I'm not clicking that. The pic tells me everything I need to know.
The Slipknutz open for Slipknot, a bit from Conan O'Brien:

Not the first time Corey has spit those ill barzz:
Corey's verse in that new one is interesting. Not the first time he's rapped though as pointed out. He also raps on Only One on the self titled album. I prefer his Tech N9Ne collab to the Kid bookie one though.
I loved Only One, that was a sick track
You must've not seen any Mudvayne clips from the last, oh about 4 years of them being around....or a million other metal bands lol.
I don't think any artist should write songs with the idea of being able to perform them the same way in 20 years in mind. That's what Slipknot was in 1999 - none of those guys were thinking about 2000, let alone 2009 or 2019, when they were recording.
That said, if you can't perform those songs live the way you used to, you should either reformat the songs or just retire them, IMO.
Yeah like what T Rez does.
Liberate is another track I feel goes unappreciated IMO. It kinda opens the second half of the album.
Interested to see if Chris Fehn is there with them.
Also, Slipknot doesn't seem like the kind of band that should be on late-night TV, but I also don't think that matters very much. I know they were on Conan forever ago, but it just seems weird.
They were on Leno around when Vol. 3 came out which was a really strange match
Theres a timer on their website that counts up to 0516. Looks like we're getting something on thursday.
