I have gotten used to the new mask from Corey, it does look a bit ridiculous, but I think its only when his make up runs off.

The new members mask is deteriorating. Speculation is that as the tour goes on, a new mask will come out from underneath the "burn" or what reddit calls "tortilla".

Tortilla man is a good name for the new guy, but I prefer Chrisn't.

Yeah. it doesn't look good in that photo. But it's looked better in the videos from some of the shows that I've seen.

OK, so we can all forget about Corey's statement on being like Iowa.

He said Iowa levels of heavy. Heavy is such a subjective term though.

Corey’s look in this album cycle is awful. His hair also doesn’t look good haha.

Agreeded, to me some of the heaviest songs of all time don't have double kick and screaming all the time. I'm taking about stuff like when Tool or Mastodon songs start chugging and shit, that to me is as heavy as you can get.

Or the Latin choir in Zeig Dich. HEAVY AF

They were pretty great yesterday! It was their third performance within three days, so even more respect to the guys. I mean, to those who actually do something in the band anyway.

I'm still laughing when I think about Corey laughing his ass off when he tried to make us sing the ta-da ta-da-da part before Custer, but the crowd couldn't even keep up with a clap which had 2 rhythms , so it was destined to fail.

I'm sad I didn't get to hear Wait and Bleed and Left Behind, but at least I got cool stuff like Prosthetics. Most of the crowd seemed a bit lost on that track ,but it has always been among my favorites.

ALso, All Out Live is not an absolute garbage, like the studio version. It is just garbage, but with cool visuals!

edit: Sid is like in a world of his own on these shows, and I love it. Clown also took someone's hat, put it on, then immediately threw it away.

iTunes has the track length for Solway Firth listed. Looks like that may be the next single.

Corey sounds in peak form! Fuckin HYPED for August, It's been 15 years since I've seen this band!

Edit: further proof of crazy euro crowds!!!

Most european metal heads seem more enthusiastic because they are. Metal music is more popular there than the US as well.

It's true for the most part. Though, I will say that Austin has the craziest metal crowds I've ever seen in the states. Saw Dillinger at the mohawk and it was the most violent show I've ever been too. The Slipknot crowds in Austin are off the chain too. Last time i saw them there, i thought I was going to die.

On a side note, can we talk about how fucking great Corey sounds on some of these videos? Holy shit he has not sounded this good live with Slipknot in a long time.

This is probably the closest they've done to Iowa levels of heavy since Iowa. Corey's vocals on this one are amazing.

That's a sick fucking groove laid down on this track. I dig it a lot. That monologue at the beginning though sounds so stupid on Corey's end, though.

    Holy fucking shit.

I read a couple of reviews and they say there are some bangers and experiments on this new record. One German mag said it’s insane how good the album is and shocking that after 20 years slipknot can still surprise and continue to be creative.

I’ll be the judge of that on my own, and know that slipknot is beloved outside of the US, but that gets me hyped. Can’t wait.

Again, that chorus , holy fucking shit.

    killerrrrrrrrs

I mean, it's heavy and all that, but Slipknot just feels like Five Finger Death Punch at this point.

I would say that's a stretch. 5FDP has constantly made the same faux tough guy BS over and over again over the last five to ten years.
