Agree with @Self.Destructive.Pattern in you should just go through each album in order. Iowa's my favorite but they don't have a bad album.

Right with you here - the Self Titled record is special to me as it was one of the first actual CD's I was ever bought as a child, as a christmas present from my parents, as I was making my way into the heavier side of things, but I'll never ever forget when Vol.3 dropped.
It was totally unexpected with the huge amount of branching out into more acoustic, even trip hoppier territory (Circle) and with Danger, Keep Away & The Virus of Life, there's really nothing else in their catalogue that touches that album for me. Even the b-sides are awesome.
Man how the hell is Slipknot gonna release IOWA on cassette, but STIIIIILL not reissue on Vinyl.
Wonder if they're planning on it but are seeing delays in production.
Seen them tonight for my 31st birthday. Fun time! On the rail in the pit! VIP merchandise and photos tomorrow.
Have these videos I recorded.
Saw them last weekend in Georgia. They were incredible as always. Corey sounds better than ever now. It seems they might be putting out the new single next Friday based on the knotfest la hoodie having “secret artwork” that will be revealed on November 5th.
I'm weirdly excited for this and expecting to be disappointed as well.
Slipknot is probably my second favorite band after NIN. I’m beyond ecstatic for this one. Two and a half more hours to go.
Im really excited to see what Slipknot sounds like post-Pandemic. A LOT of shit has happened since WANYK, and I would have to imagine there's going to be a genuinely thick layer of aggression and frustration in this new round of music.
It fucks. That is all.
Fuck yeah, this is great. Guitar tones really remind me of Vol. 3.
Song was OK, really don't like the production.
Yeah same...it was ok I guess. The weird minor chord sections with the vocals sorta threw it off for me, but it was still good.
Song slaps cheeks, but it's messy as hell, along with the production.
When I told my mom Slipknot has a new song, she said, "Wow, they're still around? I feel young."
I'm not sure where the shitty production claims are coming from? This shit sounds incredible in my headphones.
5/10
don't love it. it gets better at 1:30, but it sounds sloppy.
edit: 6/10

Just listened to it again, maybe the production isn’t as bad as I thought, but it definitely sounds like they’re trying too hard to recapture the manic chaos of their first album
Corey was absolutely on-point last night:
Jay's new mask looks kinda dumb, like it's not properly fitted to his face yet or something. Band sounds fucking great in that. Hopefully they remix and master it and release this as their official live album for the WANYK cycle.
Slipknots full set from Welcome to Rockville (as well as a heap of other bands including Cypress Hill, Mudvayne, Disturbed, etc) will stream live on twitch for free tomorrow (and the rest of the weekend). https://www.twitch.tv/dwpresents
Pit tickets for Cincy secured. Gonna try to score a Billy Rymer drumstick since I could never score one when he was with Dillinger.
I really really want to go to the KC date (fucking CYPRESS!!!!!) but man 100 before service fees for pit is just something I cannot afford at the moment. Hoping it doesn't sell out right away.
I get into any Rogers Arena show here in Vancouver for free and I'm still on the fence lol. I'll probably go, but so is Omnicron.
You say that like we won't be on pi by then. Or do you think they'll skip pi like they skipped Pooh Bear?
I mean Xi?
