I last a minute into that song before I couldn't take anymore and had to turn it off.

What is Corey thinking here? Pandemic probably made him lost his mind.
    Stick to Slipknot, dude.

I've listened Corey's new songs twice and I just don't get it. The first song could be fun - it has a good energetic, boot stomping vibe, but I don't like his verse. Corey has better flow in old Slipknot songs. He just stumbles over himself here. I saw people actually saying Corey had sick flow and I started laughing. Were we listening to the same song? The other rappers were actually good, but the song itself is just...not great. And the second song is so underwhelming. Even after two listens I don't remember it. Not getting good vibes about this solo album so far.

He's so talented and one of my favorite metal vocalists and to only record something like this, for fun or not is awful. CMFT as an acronym for Corey Motherfucking Taylor is atrocious.

Love the guy but as soon as you refer to yourself as "MF" it becomes cringworthy. Leave that to your fans and yeah cool, you have a lot of friends for your new video... new Slipknot please!

To be fair we have Slipknot and Stone Sour for Corey to make music we’re familiar with and like. I love this weird shit that has no expectations to meet. I’d be furious if this was a Slipknot or SS song, but I’m down with this bud light no shirt sunburned forehead rock thing he’s going with. Idk

The video was like the "Break Stuff" music video of 2020, it was cool to see all the guest he got. Especially Manson, Nergal, John 5 and Chris Jericho. The track is not mind blowing but I liked it as a fun song. it sounds like he wrote a wrestling theme for him or something. His other 90's alt-country style song was better.

I was at this show! Unreal!!

edit: this was at the ZENITH of my teenage obsession with this band. This venue was a sweatbox, I also saw 311 and Sevendust play this place back when they did shows there, I've been to MMA matches there and whenever they do the local fair, they always have vendors for various thing set up in that room. The adjacent room is set up for rodeos, this is south Dakota after all.

I wasn't at this show, but ever since Clown said they tons of footage from 93-98 in the vault, the floodgates have opened.

This was the same show they filmed for the performance footage in the Wait and Bleed and Spit it Out videos. Sounds like some "traders" out there are pissed that footage they paid hundreds of dollars for is available for free now. I'm glad us nin fans know how to do it right when it comes to live recordings.

edit: that scream at the beginning of sic

I loooove this trove of Slipknot sets being released lately. I keep hoping one of their many sets from the KC/Lawrence area in the fall of 99 and spring of 00 find it's way online eventually. They played here so many damn times during that short period, and I swear I remember seeing someone filming the set at one of the La Vida Loco shows I saw. There's gotta be one out there somewhere.

There was another Slipknot show on the Volume 3 tour where the show basically got rained out as soon as it started, and every single opening band (Sevendust, As I Lay Dying, Unearth) ended up not being able to play. But Slipknot refused and went out and played a shortened hour long set in torrential rains. I remember Corey going super over the top the entire show and screaming so hard during (Sic) that he started projectile vomiting on the stage. That show was absolutely bonkers. I doubt a recording of it exists but I'm always hoping to be proved wrong one of these days.

It never once crossed my mind that a show in sioux falls that I went to nearly 2 decades ago, was not just filmed by 2 cameras, but that a SBD existed of it too.

now THAT is a great mainstream metal festival lineup. Only 3 acts that are trash (Suicide Boys, Tech 9 & Vended...the last being the children of a few Slipknot members so of course they're playing). And sure Megadeth is kinda stale, Mustaine is a right wing kook & Ellefson just got booted unjustly imo...but they're still Megadeth & can shred. Trivium is wack too but its not like watching them is torture or anything. Knocked Loose & Turnstile on one bill is a hardcore kid's dream atm too if you're rooting for either band to break big like they're trying to. Same weekend as Furnace Fest otherwise I'd debate going to this right after the Cleveland NIN shows.

Are they gonna get more of a The Real Thing/Malpractice/Jizzlober/Cukoo for Caca/Separation Anxiety side of FNM or the Easy/RV/Evidence/She Love's me Not/Sunny Side Up side

Knowing FNM I' sure it's the later just to fuck with the crowd this will surely attract

God Kansas City took such a huge hit with it's venues during last year. Almost every single tour being announced that would normally come here, just... isn't. This is the best lineup Slipknot has toured with in a hot minute. Damn shame that's not coming here.

Also, have to say, I really love seeing FEVER333 touring with Slipknot. I feel like the message that Jason Aalon Butler preaches on stage every night is a message that a large chunk of Slipknot's fanbase need to be exposed to.

Bought a What’s Next VIP tour package. Only bands I really like here are Slipknot and Code Orange. Killswitch is ok and never listened to Fever 333. Either way I’m excited. The show is actually on my birthday as well so I thought I’d treat myself. October 17th!

Late to the party, but I saw that a piece of the 1999 show from Peoria leaked. I wish the entirety of the audio would leak:
