Wow, ok so last night Slipknot played an intimate show leaning heavily on old material for 850 people with new masks (heavily influenced by their originals), and debuted Eloy from Sepultura officially as Jay's replacement.

    Article with pics and info.

    Full show video:

Love the new masks, especially Corey's. It's really good to see him back with the fake dreads.

I will say though, if I had gone to this show I would have been a bit disappointed that the setlist was your average run of the mill greatest hits set. I was under the impression this was going to be a show where they were planning on doing S/T in full.

Damn, this looks pretty great. Love the callbacks, and seeing all of them in those colored jumpsuits is a sight to see.

First time since volume 3 where Corey didn’t have the worst mask. Super tight

    PASS OF THE MAGGOTS
    $1999 + fees
As much Slipknot as you want! One pass that grants early entry GA access to as many shows on the North American leg of the 25th Anniversary Tour as you would like to attend, one Maggot Pit GA+ pass for Knotfest Iowa, and other benefits.
One (1) general admission floor ticket with early entry for AS MANY SHOWS as you want to attend on the Slipknot 2024 North American Tour*
One (1) Maggot Pit GA+ ticket to Knotfest Iowa 2024
One (1) special edition 25th Anniversary Tour laminate that gets you access into the shows
One (1) autographed limited-edition lemon vinyl copy of the 1999 album “Slipknot”
One Knotfest Essentials Kit, which includes one Knotfest Iowa festival crossbody bag, plus your choice of additional merchandise items to complete your kit**
so at first I was goggled at the price because wtaf, 2k?!? but then I saw that it's for as many shows as you want minus some festivals. Better, but still holy shit at the cost of room and gas and food.

This was another band that growing up I could never get into (even when they were the hottest thing in junior high) and I felt only got cheesier as I got older.

Damn man I would have 1000% loaded up a credit card to see Slipknot, Knocked Loose, and Orbit Culture. Goddamn that is such a good lineup. Especially if Slipknot is playing S/T in full every night. Bummer this isn't coming to KC, although it looks like even if it did, Orbit Culture wouldn't be on our date.

I'd kill for a Vol.3 in its entirety show. Seen the knot twice, and would love to see them again, before they decide to hang it up one day.

I saw the Subliminal Verses tour 3 times and between those three shows I'm pretty sure the only songs off of Vol. 3 that wasn't played live were Vermillion 2 and Danger Keep Away. That tour was a BEAST, man. Lamb of God, Shadows Fall, and Dillinger Escape Plan on two of the shows I saw, and then the third had Unearth and Killswitch Engage.

Also saw them perform MOST of S/T in 1999 and that was absolutely insane. I'm so grateful I got to see them on their original 1999-2000 run of shows.

The most recent time I've seen them was on the Gray Chapter tour with Korn. Clown jumped down into the pit at one point and shoved me really hard which was awesome.

I hope we get a properly mastered version of Vol. 3. Loved that album when it came out, but I can’t listen to it anymore its so damn compressed and muddy compared to every other Slipknot release

Luckyyyyy. I love when they interact with the crowd.

I saw them as well during their 1999-2000 run, and again at Mayhem Festival back in 2008. That was when Sid was in the wheelchair, and you can see his mechanical eyebrows in the sad position, it was quite funny, but I did miss his crazy presence we were all used to on stage.

    Setlist for Mayhem Fest:

Tape intro mixed with Iowa/Circle/Danger-Keep Away

    Surfacing
    The Blister Exists
    Get This
    Before I Forget
    Disasterpiece
    Psychosocial
    The Heretic Anthem
    Prosthetics
    Duality
    People = Shit
    (sic)

Danger-Keep Away is such a creepy little track, it is one of my favorites off the album.

So I was able to hear some, but I want a front to back performance . Also, just realized I started this thread back in 2012... Hot damn it has been a long time.
