Looking for some advice from some fellow techies out there. It's been quite some time since I've messed around with various video formats and re-encoding them, so I have no idea what the better tools are these days. I figured some of you out there that were involved with the various NIN fan projects may be able to provide on insight.

I have a DVD that is PAL encoded, which I'm trying to convert and play on my PS3...which of course, is NTSC. Now, I know I can extract the VOBs with a couple tools I already have to convert them into MKV/XVID/MPEG. But with this DVD, I'd like to have the full menu system, and keep it as close to the source as possible, essentially just cloning it, but having the NTSC version of it.

I've ripped the DVD into an ISO, and tried to use Nero Vision to re-encode it, with no luck

I've used IfoEdit to tweak the IFO files, and burned that image, with no luck.

Does anyone have any suggestions for helping me get this done?
