Think I'll just update the cover art in iTunes and be done with it!

Against all reasonable logic I'll re-buy the album, purely for the name change. Maybe I'll go vinyl to justify buying it again, since I've essentially already got the CD.

So is there no official Cornell release that has Sunshower? I've been keen to get a proper version of it in forever, it just doesn't seem to surface. I'm not buying a bloody movie soundtrack for one song.

Thoughts on "Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart"?

Not bad, imho. Doesn't sound like Soundgarden, reminds me a little of his Euphoria Morning/Mourning album.

It wasn't what I was expecting which was really jarring at first, but it didn't take long to come around to it. Really like the song and am keen for the album. Bought the signed version from chriscornell.com, because I'm a sucker.

that's a pretty neat little record indeed, if you like that kind of folk stuff it is pretty well written and executed I have to say. I bet Vedder must be kicking himself for not being the one who released this record!

Eddie's solo albums are pretty cool too. They both like to pursue different musical avenues with their solo albums.

I've barely had a chance to listen, but the first three songs immediately stood out to me, and Our Time in the Universe was fun! The signs are good.

Higher Truth is really growing on me.

The first 8 tracks are superb.

anyone else get an Oasis vibe from the title track?

you couldn't find the deluxe edition with 16 tracks? (15 minus the remix)

I do like the album a lot, but feel it kind of runs out of steam, about two-thirds through. The bonus tracks are okay, but without them it's a leaner, more digestable album.

out of the bonus tracks, I think Wrong Side is the stand out

I agree it runs out of steam after the title track but still definitely his best solo effort!

"Temple of the dog" deluxe out 30 sept.

    The Digital Deluxe Edition features:
    25 tracks
The Original album newly mixed by Brendan O’Brien
3 Alternate Mixes newly mixed from multi-tracks by Adam Kasper: “Say Hello 2 Heaven,” “Wooden Jesus” and “All Night Thing”
7 demos - 5 unreleased including 2 songs that didn’t make final album sessions: “Angel of Fire” and “Black Cat”
5 Studio Outtakes newly mixed from multi-tracks by Adam Kasper

    sample of "Black cat"

Looks nice (nicer than Metallica's comeback )

Jeeeesus this looks fine and sweet content-wise ...except all the separate envelopes and prints scattered around - which looks like a real hassle to scoop through the box to find specific disc. The covers are all made of same pattern with slightly different shades, making them easy to be mistaken over one another.
As a proud owner of Superunknown LE that is one big book, didn't expect this new deluxe to be as messed up as it turns out. Guess i better stick with just 2xCD offering of this one.

The teaser Rusty Cage demo is alright, tho
