Very cool. Not to dismiss anyone up in the list, but isn't it weird to see TR among these names?

He's shaved, so he's not writing any music right now.

No, shaving means no score work. No Coke Zero would mean not writing at all.

Wasn't he known for having a beard when he was in the studio writing ANY music? Well before he started doing scores?

Shaved as HTDA is done and now would be the time for promo photos, videos, possible performance etc.

And as a father I promise you, the little ones don't love facial hair :P

Funny coincidence that "You're so Vain"-Carly Simon of all people gets an award the same year as TR.

I wonder if the two chatted about how her song was used for "Starfuckers, Inc." since she did get some credit for the sample Trent used.

She also made Interscope/Nothing/Trent pay a lot for it, and offered a lot of resistance about the whole thing

Wow, that video was terribly sad. Terrible to see Trent in the same room with all of those people.

And why did Steven Tyler accept Carly Simon's award?

More importantly, did Trent perform anything?

Or at least popped up with Fuck You at you-know-which moment of Carly's performance

The progeny of Carly Simon and James Taylor (Ben Taylor) was up there performing with her. Carly Simon wrote about a bazillion hits. I thought Paul Williams was dead until I saw this.

I only see people who are musically done.
Not for Trent. He's not one of them.
Typical you hear HLAH and not some recent work. Golden oldies party.
