Ran across the teaser for season 4. I would have to say I'm most excited for the new opening credits. Charlie Clouser all the way!

AHS has been a hit and miss with me.
First season was incredible. Second season was good but didn't feel like it was a home run.
I couldn't go through season 3 to be honest. Witches are just not my thing.
Teaser for Season 4 looks great and it definitely got my hopes up again.

The thing about this "franchise" is that no one agrees on the quality. Like you said, you loved the first season but I despise that with a passion and I think that Asylum was amazing.

I think we all agree that it sucks that it'll be Jessica's last season.

I totally agree with you. Opinions have been all over the place. I've heard people say that Coven was the best season. Other people really disliked it. I think it's the risk of having a franchise that has stand-alone seasons.
With that being said, I think we all agree that Jessica Lange's acting has been amazing throughout.

I watched half of Coven before abandoning it. There just wasn't anything compelling in it horror wise to keep up with it. I'm still going to be a big hypocrite and buy it when it comes out on blu-ray though.

I just bought the blu-ray for Asylum last week. I have never watched it, so I'm late to the party.

I'm excited for Freakshow though. Right up my alley.

Full trailer is debuting during tonight's episode of The Strain. Hopefully it will turn up online ASAP (and it won't be region-locked, WHICH IS THE WORST).

Happy to hear about the 90 minute running time. AHS is one of the few shows I get excited about every year. Just picked up season 3 on DVD and I cannot wait for Freakshow later tonight.

Apparently we're going to hear Elsa sing Lana Del Ray as well, according to Ryan Murphy. Weird.

I tried livestreaming it, but it was so jittery that I saw about 30 seconds of the episode over 3 minutes so I just gave up. Download is finishing now, so I'll be back later.

Also, I gasped out loud at the reveal at the end of the episode. Poor dear. Also, it's good that they kept the bitchery from Coven between Jessica and Frances.
