    Eastbound and Down

So it looks like it's the last season and the premier was yesterday and it fucking floored me. My favorite scene from last night's episode was Jason Sudekis' character Shane watching "Super Fuzz" on TV and saying "who says hit movies can't be smart". And the coked out binge at the put put golf was awesome too. Anyone else down with La Flama Blanca?

My only thought was, how did they not use "wait till you see my dick" years ago? That should be the theme song!

I can't believe nobody is talking about this show. 3rd and final season is 2 episodes in. Best comedy on TV right now.

Last night's episode was great. Kenny Powers trying to take care of a kid and deal with Ashleigh Schaffer. Poor Stevie! Having to be a geisha and all that shit. Not cool!

I liked the first episode more than all of season 2 combined. Forgot to watch the second episode last night, will probably do that after work. Hoping this show ends on a strong note.

    ASHLEY SCHAFFER!!

Weird episode this week. very unsettling seeing Will Ferrell as a deep south slave owner(or whatever they were going for)

I just love the idea that Roger Waters started this thread.

I can't wait to catch up with the new season. I'm halfway through Season 2, and it's just such a fantastic, hilarious (and actually quite tragic) show.

Eastbound and Down has just turned into the most dramatic show on television. Crazy ass episode.

Yeah, I think the use of Bauhaus added to that element of dread that was coming and then... blam! Shame, I liked that guy.

Eastbound and Down is starting to almost feel like Boogie Nights where once the 80s hits, shit starts going down. The episode was very 80'sish with the song choices and such.

Totally, as unlikeable as Kenny Powers is. He is a pretty hilarious guy. Stevie got laid and gets fucked in the ass!!

Jesus this season is more morally reprehensible than anything else on TV. The whole Candlebox/Pearl Jam thing at the funeral was awesome. KP reading the Penthouse forum to his son was pretty funny too.

I think that was my favorite episode of the whole series so far. Seeing the Powers family and how his mom brings out the good in him was refreshing from all of the darkness that this season has been filled with.

Kenny's mom is the coolest mom ever. She's a champ. She's willing to smoke weed with her son. She doesn't put with any bullshit from anyone.

That was a great episode. I think Kenny might be on his way to actually becoming a decent dad.

Holy shit! That was a great episode. Ashley Schaeffer came back as did Craig Robinson. I knew it was him in that mask. Still, that was an incredible one. Stevie with the Freddy Krueger gloves.

I wish they would more seasons or a movie
What made Eastbound great was when Kenny was out in the real world rather than baseball
I think thats why season 1 was funnier seeing his ego trying to handle every day situations
Why not continue on with Kenny Powers, the family man
It would almost be a new and different show with less about the baseball angle
Just about Kenny dealing with his kid growing up and family life
Especially make it a while later and his son is a older and a complete horror of a child
Imagine Kenny on parents/teacher night, getting a real job, etc
I think it would be a nice change into a different direction
