Yeah, from the description I'm guessing it's basically this item. I've come across that a few times in my hunt for a copy of Broken and/or Fixed.
I've been watching this video from a show in 1990 - anyone know what the intro music here is? I don't recognise it
Not technically a NIN question, I suppose...but asking for that purpose.
I caved and bought a BD burner for my computer, and I have the backhaul feed from Made in America sitting on a hard drive somewhere. I'd love to turn that into something I can just toss in any bluray player and watch - is there any basic freeware that would let me do that? Don't need menus, or even chapters - just want to convert and burn it as a standard BD instead of a data disc. Anyone know of something like that?
Does anyone know where this art comes from?
I swear I've seen people with copies of With_Teeth that have it, but I don't know if it's a bootleg or what. The image popped up again when I was searching around for With Teeth wallpapers, and it's just always stuck out to me for some reason. Official or not I think it's great and would've been an exceptional cover, but I just really want to know where it's from.
Who is Briana Mae Reznor? Trent's sister? Wasn't Trent Reznor an only child?
Alright here's another one, what do the symbols mean on the front page picture before you enter echoingthesound.org.
If you mean http://www.echoingthesound.org/herp.jpg then the symbols in his tattoo is the track art for Demon Seed
I just bought a sealed copy of Things Falling Apart on vinyl for $50 USD. Good buy?
It was made specifically for the tour as an intro into 'Terrible Lie.' But there are many samples that were used in the beginning with it. @gladcarrot has created a great page that has many of the samples that were used. His site is great for those earlier shows as that is my weak point of info with the band.

Oh c'mon it's not that bad of an infringement... It's not thaaat personal I mean we're talking possible siblings, not deep inner secrets.
That's from The Slip right? What about the tattoo on the girl? Lights in the Sky?
Hey what's the symbol underneath my name? It looks like a show ticket. I'm aware that it determines my rank in this forum, but what is it, actually?
Slow down there, @Copy_of_an_Echo
Some things are best left unexplained.
The symbol underneath your name is a show ticket. After a certain chain of events, it become a used ticket stub.
Many moons ago, I could play piano. I'm making the first step in re-educated myself and grabbing a full size midi controller. So, question: is there any sheet music floating around for some of NIN's more piano-based stuff? Wouldn't mind trying to learn a few little ditties.
www.theninhotline.net/knowthescore/ for the fan made stuff
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/142...SCLXAM32DDTAJH for the only (to date) official sheet music
The guy has the Demon Seed graphic from The Slip, the girl has the "teeth and salt" Downward Spiral image.
I've often wondered if With Teeth was also a reference to The Downward Spiral's "teeth and salt" image. I made sure to count the teeth, and it turns out that there are 13 teeth and 13 songs on With Teeth.
How likely is that? Or is it just a mere coincidence?
Did Trent ever mention it, or even hint at it before?

Haha yeah I'm just too curious about everything in the world of weird.
But thank you for the answer. I like how they did that. So about the girls tattoo...
Ahhh thank you.
Y'know it's always bugged me in a very stupid way that there's 14 songs on TDS but only 13 of the teeth. It's the dumbest complaint I could possibly have.
As far as With Teeth, I'm pretty sure it's just referencing addiction and not letting go, having "teeth" sunk into you that you can't pull out so to speak. Hence the "She will not let you go," I think it's generally accepted that the title track is singing about addiction near exclusively. Definitely just a coincidence. Also Trent mentioned that he was trying hard to not have instrumentals and cut out several songs, so the original album, whether as Bleedthrough or With Teeth, wouldn't have been 13 tracks. On the lyric sheet there's My Dead Friend and The Warning, live they had Not So Pretty Now and Non-Entity, and then there's the bonus track of Home which bumps it up to 14 on some editions. Very cool observation though, something I wouldn't have thought of before!
I seriously forgot, as I had so many questions to the point where I had a hard time keeping up with them, or even remembering them. That also happens whenever I have far too many thoughts and questions going on in my mind all at once, which also tends to happen a lot. Sorry about that. It was an honest mistake.
What also caught my attention this time though, was how there were exactly 13 teeth and 13 songs songs on With Teeth.
I probably should've said the CD, SACD and DualDisc versions of The Downward Spiral instead. I also messed up there too, since it would've been on all of those versions anyway, especially along with any other pictures that got reused/reworked.
