Watching Alpine Downhill Skiing on the Olympics Channel, and the GOAT Lindsey Vonn as co-commentator for the Super-G events in Crans Montana, Switzerland (World Cup) ... OMG awesome.

So, I have lived in a different state from my best friend for the last 14 and a half years. I have seen her maybe once a year, and right now I haven't seen her in three and a half. It's been really, really hard. I missed her every day and we always talked about how great it would be for us to live close again but I wasn't sure if/when it will ever happen.

Welp, that ends now. In a little under two weeks I will be moving halfway across the country and will be officially living close to her again! I can't even tell you how excited I am for this. This is huge. Granted, we are in the middle of a pandemic, so hanging out will be tricky, but we'll figure it out. We're already talking about maybe doing a covid bubble, at the very least getting together at the park or something and sitting 6 feet apart. Whatever it is, we are going to make sure we are being super safe until things settle down.

I can't even tell you how excited I am or how much this means to me. We are both super excited and I think this is going to be HUGE for my mental health. I'm not even that upset about the $1,600 in repairs I had to do to make sure my car survives the drive (ok, that was a little annoying). I'm just on cloud nine right now and I cannot wait.
