well I know where I'm going on Friday. congrats @eversonpoe .

You know, it's always refreshing to find out that people you like/look up to share many of the same important values.

    Now online they discuss
    Whether I exist
And in the court they decide
    Who I can kiss

This Twitter thread thread that evolves into how you can’t get electrocuted by a toaster thrown into a pool cheers me immensely.

Edit: Oh I guess that’s Mezerg

This is an update from "...piss you off."

Director Cole came home, after like, two weeks on the lam!

I wish I could say I lured him in with pie and coffee, like @eversonpoe suggested, but it was actually allegro's tip of putting stinky cat food outside that brought him home.

I can't fucking BELIEVE he came home, but, one night, he did. Agent Cooper was going batshit crazy meowing at us, and, we finally realized that it was because Cole had made it home, and was on the other side of the door!

Watching Chopped while I'm stoned and snacking...natch.

One of the contestants is this mom who wants to win the $10K to support the therapies her 15-16 yr old transgender daughter needs.
And I just thought that was the best-est.

And it's reassuring that I can continue my binge-fests on the Food Network. A lot of the programming is shit, but Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives is done by Guy Fieri who does a TON of charity work**, and the network in general remains to be LGBTQ supportive...so it turns into my guilt-free bs tv watching channel. I always knew the Food Network was LGBTQ accepting, but it's another level of positivity when they acceptively publish shows that talk about transgender acceptance.

**Right now going to a restaurant is a whole different level of food porn given quarantine, and most of the show is 90's/00's nostalgia.

have you watched any Guy's Grocery Games? skip season 1 (it's weeeeird) but the rest of it is amazing! so fun. it's like a cross between chopped and supermarket sweep. it's one of our favorite feel-good shows. and we unabashedly love guy fieri. Guy's Ranch Kitchen is also fun, especially if you're familiar with a lot of other food network personalities (particularly folks who end up as judges on GGG). supermarket sweep is sometimes fun but there seem to be a lot of contestants who are either idiots or assholes (or both!) so it can be frustrating to watch sometimes.

I'm a natural introvert, but I miss the energy buzz of being around people, relaxing. I miss the ritual of going to a restaurant with friends. The excitement of catching up/ deciding what to order/ sharing food.

It's slowly getting back to that point down here in Australia. Well, it pretty much is back to that normal now in Sydney, apart from certain tables being unavailable to sit at to maintain distance between customers, and having to sign in if you dine in.

A shame you can't hop in some underground tunnel and head down here to enjoy a bit of normal life again!

Oh we have the option of doing so in Florida. I live with someone high risk, so it's different. My exhile from restaurants is precautionary.
