Finally starting to heat up here.

It’s so warm today that I just had to peel my dick off my balls to take a piss.

Yes, I just said that. And it happened.

Because I was will in a LEGO mood, decided to build one of the modulars I don't have in storage. I still have one more and that might be a next week activity.

Love hiking with my dog. Her friend Auggie came along too. If you click through the pictures you can see some shots from the puppy playtime.

    Why yes, more LEGO...

and even more LEGO... but the old Space theme.

I had that set when I was younger but I did not treat it very well over the years but I liked it a lot... so I found secondary market for LEGO and took a chance on them. The experience was positive so I'll probably order more sets from them.

So @allegro posted about this girl Nightbirde in another thread, just wanted to say thanks for bringing her beautiful voice to my attention, i decided to see if there was more from her outside of the AGT performance.

I really can't get enough. I hope she overcomes her cancer.

My wife actually did The Thanksgiving...you know, turkey, dressing, bread rolls, etc.

Even though it's just her, me, and my mom, and even though she's still suffering from the gastroparesis bullshit and is constantly nauseous, she did it. And no one ASKED her to do it.

    She is pretty badass.

    HAPPY THXGIVING, ets.

My wife made ANOTHER Thanksgiving Dinner yesterday.
It is my favorite food in the world, and i guess she MUST still like me ok, even after 10 years.

That's what we did last year: we just kept buying either whole turkeys or breasts, with stuffing and cranberry and such, from thanksgiving to xmas.

We had a Honeybaked ham this year for Thanksgiving.

Yesterday, I made split pea soup in the pressure cooker with the leftover ham. Now there’s no more leftover ham (except in the soup) and the soup was a big hit. But I did miss a traditional Thanksgiving meal.

    No Game Hens?

We're just doing turkey breast, boxed stuffing, mac and cheese, and green bean casserole.

Oh, and brown-and-serve rolls. Speaking of which, the fucking oven caught on FIRE when we were heating them the other day, lolz.

I'm talking like, fireplace looking fire. So much grease has fallen in the bottom of it, I guess, and we've run the "clean" cycle, but it isn't enough. It needs degreaser, I think.

Our appliance service guys say NEVER use the “clean” function on the oven unless you wanna buy a new oven; they say yeah, it’s there, but it totals the oven’s thermostat.

Use Easy Off, the cool temp kind, and wet cloths and plain old elbow grease (although the Easy Off makes it easy to clean).

G and I like Cornish hens but my mom hates them.

    Oh HELL yeah!
    Man, that guy is amazing.
He's always been FUNNY. I saw that dude do a routine on SOMETHING when i was a teenager, and he cemented himself in my mind: i KNEW he was gonna be great.
Later, he BLEW my damn mind when he did that comedy special after losing his wife, and it was inspiring, and TEAR jerking, and HILARIOUS. I've never seen anything like that, before or since.

If you meet him, tell him you've got a friend who desperately wants him to come through the Amarillo area.

Idk, @allegate . Rapey werewolves are no joke.
We've been dealing with those since Bram Stoker.

I think you should be more sympathetic.

    :/ ( :P )
