As I've thought about it more, I'm thinking there's a good chance of Mike's idea of continued animosity being a product of his mental illness. Having been through it my whole life, your mind kind of leaps towards the worst case scenario. I agree that it's understandable for the other members of FNM to be pissed in the moment, but it wouldn't be understandable for them to hold a grudge. Hopefully they can talk soon and work things out.

Warner/Rhino announced a vinyl box set of the band's original 3 albums, remastered with 2 "unheard alternate takes of inter-program material" coming in July. The band seems kind of involved, but it's not the unreleased from the Bungle archives project a lot of us were hoping for. Still, the announcement seem to have appeased the edge lord crowd that hates the Raging Wrath album and touring.

I enjoy all things Bungle and Mike Patton. I quickly preordered the box set, and I'm excited to finally own quality versions of all 3 albums. Wasn't fast enough for the gross yellow version, so black vinyl will have to do, haha.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Raging Wrath era. The album was the best thrash record not released in '86 and I saw them live in Austin a few weeks ago and it was a helluva show. Any show where I can see renditions of Slayer, Spandeau Ballet and film song "Experiment in Terror" in the same concert has my vote. Not to mention you can tell they're all having *fun*

...and (the yellow version) it's sold out

I'm happy they are releasing a bonus track for "California", easily my favorite album by them.

also it's a good day to remember this beautiful unofficial video:
