I randomly replied to some tweet that said "what artist do you want to see release new music this year?" with NIN and she liked my reply (I don't follow her or anything, but thought the name sounded familiar...)

After watching that I had the following videos suggested to me. Had no idea Freese did Drum Cam clips like Rubin had done recently. I am sure these have been posted before, but anyone have any idea what 2008 shows they're from?

Not sure which shows specifically but they're from December. I wonder if they're from one of the shows that ended up in 'The Gift' so as to save some time on the sound mix - depends on if anyone can spot the cameras in that footage.

If you've never seen his tour video from the Lights In The Sky days, you're in for a bizarre treat.

Well, that was pretty horrible, and what happened to the last word there? It's like he had a stroke. Also, props to the AI for making creepy insect clicking noises at the end of the track.

I've watched this a few times today, but I haven't noticed a reference. Where is it?

Is it a vocal/a cappella version of the intro to "Somewhat Damaged" playing? It's the only thing I thought it might be.

The repeated sequence of four chromatic* notes could be interpreted as a reference to Somewhat Damaged

*I do not have perfect pitch, it's possible that what's sung is not in fact chromatic.

I did wonder if that's what they were referring to, but it's hard to say if that's meant to be a reference or just something that happens to sound a little bit like alike.

Bumping my post from a few weeks ago now that the episode is publicly available on YouTube. Trixie and Katya mention their love of Nine Inch Nails in the first minute of the episode.

So some no-name filmmaker showed up at the Tribeca premiere of his own film in a Bad Witch shirt.
    What a geek.

One of the more rewarding things about sticking with a community for as long as many of us have is when one of us finds some level of success and it gets shared here. Kudos!

From this interview with Gone Girl's Rosamund Pike:
I also went to see Nine Inch Nails live in Berlin recently.
Guess that might have been the 2018 tour?
