Man. Music video premieres were a thing, weren't they? "One of the most minimalistic music videos that we've seen in quite a long time, coming from a man that I guess a lot of people are looking to to be the future of rock n' roll" No pressure! Here we are 28 years later, Nine Inch Nails plays deceptively minimalist live shows against a piss-stained curtain (having pioneering tech-heavy live production techniques in multiple tours past), and Kennedy's one of the more rabid Fox Business News personalities. The future of Rock n' Roll is weird.

I still remember Carson Daly's completely deadpan "wow, that was amazing" after the 'Into The Void' world premiere. Wang.

That kinda makes it look like Trent was considering using the Russell Mills art of the distressed logo as the cover, before deciding on the one they ended up using (titled "Wound").

Neil Druckmann (writer and director of The Last of Us video game series and co-creator of the HBO adaptation) names Trent Reznor as one of his all-time biggest creative influences. (quote at 27:00)

Very cool. Makes me hope for another collaboration between Gustavo Santaolalla and Trent & Atticus—or T&A being asked to work on a Naughty Dog video game.

A Trent and Atticus remix of Apocalyptical is on Puscifer's remix album Existential Reckoning: Rewired. The album also features an Alessandro Cortini remix.

Came here to post about this. I went last weekend. Martin is a great archivist and has held on to a lot of memorabilia over the decades. Fortunately a lot of people have also donated items to the museum and it is growing very fast.

The tour started off going down to the control room in the basement studio and listening to NIN PHM demos. Martin prefaced this listening session with a story about going on tour in one of his bands (PIL I think) and how it was too expensive too bring out a brass section. One of the tour stops (Cleveland) had two musicians come out to play the brass parts and Trent was the saxophone player. Trent gave Martin a demo at that time and this was that demo. We also listened to a PiL demo, Skinny Puppy (The Process sessions) demos and a Killing Joke instrumental demo.

The rest of the tour was Martin showing each section of the exhibit telling stories about everything. The NIN wall is pretty extensive.

The way it reads it seems like it will be already released tracks and not anything new for the game itself.

You're correct. Word on Reddit is that it's Spoiler: 1,000,000, but maybe there are multiple songs?

Apparently Spoiler: The Perfect Drug is in there as well, or at least it's on the playlist Bethesda posted on Spotify.

Firstly, I'm pretty sure there are bands that predate NIN in this regard but secondly I'm shocked at the number of $5 words in this article for, ahem, Ohio.

Cringeworthy. The article references Trent, NIN and Nothing Records all by name.

Not just the article, but the lawsuit. If you find this stuff icky and don't want to read the article, basically the lawsuit alleges that the labels and heads of the labels are complicit by giving Manson a platform with which to perform the abuse.

    weeeeeeeeeellllllll...

    ok, nevermind.

That's a trip though, to think that many of us, here, were AT said 95 show at the Fair Park Dogshow Building, errr...i mean, colliseum, as i'm PRETTY fucking sure we're talking about the NIN show, right?
Brian and Georgie weren't headlining all ages shows in 95, were they?

No. The Melvins opened for that show (substituting for an ill PWEI).

As best as I can tell, based on the details and circumstances cited, the concert dates in the lawsuit are Dallas - Sep 15, 1995 and New Orleans - Dec 9, 1995. Later, it was Dallas - Mar 23, 1999 and New Orleans - March 25, 1999, and then all the tour dates after that for another month or so, which included two dates in New York state, the basis of the lawsuit.

Ah. I get the Brian and Georgie Musical Review and Melvins/Jim Rose Circus shows mixed up...not the content of the shows: rather, which one was first.
My mind is going...I can feel it. I was 14.

But I'm gonna have to look into this. I don't remember Brian headlining an all ages Dallas shows in 95.

Edit: ok, 2 Brian shows in 95, both at clubs. Definitely was the Deep Ellum Live show (all ages). Bit of a rough reputation for such deeds: I have personal experience with Type O and Life of Agony attempting to lure my 16 year old GF and 15 year old friend backstage, without me.
I bet some of you 42-45 year old Dallas cats were at that Manson show.

    Sorry for drift.

I saw that that woman at the center of this case alleges that Chris Vrenna started dating her when she turned 18, after Manson had started his abuse of her when she was 16. Oh boy. If true, Vrenna was under the age of 30 I believe when they may have started dating. Not the worst thing we've ever read in this realm, but not a great look either.

Trent's name only mentioned as the one who signed Manson to Nothing records. The actual lawsuit is all about Brian Warner.
