    Maraxe: Some synth ideas

For the last couple of years it's been really hard for me to be able to make new music. This month I have managed to turn the situation around by putting limitations on myself. I decided to make some recordings putting away my guitar and all the VSTs in my computer and using just my two analog synths, a Korg Minilogue and a Volca Keys. I also turned off the metronome in Logic and recorded at most 2 or 3 tracks per song. This is it:

it's cool, maybe a little tooooooooo um.... slow in the evolution of the sound, and could use more dirt and modulation, but it's cool.

It's definitely slow, in a way it was the idea, on the other hand it's true that the synthesizers could use more modulation, at least the Minilogue, which has a lot more possibilities than playing with the filter. In any case, I hope to be able to continue to get more things out of these instruments over time, but for now I needed to do something more spontaneous and almost improvised to break a streak in which it was almost impossible for me to finish any musical project.

Recorded some more songs, this time using just a Volca Modular and a Volca Keys. I bought the Modular a couple of weeks ago and I'm still learning all it has to offer but here it is already the main voice in all of the tracks.

This set of songs has in one way or another some NIN inspiration, and even some samples, it's also quite different from the previous releases
