No clue what to ask them if I get the opportunity. My wife said I should ask what should I name my next dog? Only musical related thing I could come up with was “why do you hate live releases so much?” Could ask about deviations 2. Got two weeks to come up with something. I’ve only made eye contact with TR at a show a couple times and it was very awkward. I’m sure this will be just as awkward having him listen to me talk, hopefully I don’t word vomit

I think you have a nice two-part qiestion right there:

    1. Do you remember when we made eye contact at a concert that one time?
    2. Was it awkward for you?

    Boom, opportunity seized!

Got on the guestlist for the Q&A. If possible, I'd like to ask him either for a song request for the Blossom show, or ask what his stance is on platinum tickets on Ticketmaster as well as if NIN would ever go back to personalized tickets by name.

    1. With a name like Nine Inch Nails, have you ever considered adding a few more band members to get you up to 9, having yourselves shrunk down to be only 1 inch tall each, and wearing nail costumes for concerts?
    2. When should we expect your Rick Astley colloboration to be performed live?

So, i got confirmation for the Q&A...BUT, how do I get a pass for the fan day? Or by being confirmed by the NINfanday account it means we have access for all the fan day activities?

You will need to buy an admission ticket to the RRHOF for that day separately.

Yes. The Q&A is a separate event from the RRHOF admission. It's listed above.

Actually, Kraw responded on the Discord saying that those with a Q&A guestpass would not have to purchase a separate ticket. I take it that details on that will follow.

He said it doesn't 'require' you to purchase a ticket, but to view the exhibit, you would need to purchase a GA admission ticket I believe? It's not super clear honestly.

So I wasn't going to make it to this, my flight had me leaving DEN around noon EST, so I was like "oh well, at least I'm going to the show".
Then I got a DM today from the fan day invite account saying there was a spot for me, since I had signed up as attending the show a while ago, if I wanted to go and could make it. And that little prod was all it really took for me to decide to change all my travel plans and accomodations and get in at like 1am Friday but I'm fucking going. So excited because I've never gotten to go to anything special, not even a soundcheck or listening party. I don't even have to get a chance to ask anything I'm just excited to get to sit in the room and listen to Trent and the guys just talk. Not sure if I'm going to get my Rock Hall ticket for beforehand or explore it all after. Hell I still need to go buy a backpack for travel gear.

Wow that's awesome that they messaged you directly to query about your availability! Guess they're trying to confirm everyone they can from the initial Cleveland meetup group list. Maybe they'll send out more messages after the deadline today if they have a few spots left over. Whatever the case, that's really neat that you finally get a chance to participate in a special NIN event and I hope you and all the other lucky guests have a great time!

If anyone is ACTUALLY looking for a real question to ask, I've been curious since the Vinyl Mission Statement dropped what, exactly, is his set up when he has the time to actually sit and listen to a full album. Like, what speakers/headphones/devices. So if anyone has nothing but questions about his $40,000 boots and wants to ask something else, there you go.

Also, obviously, which current NIN member would win in a Battle Royale.

    Either of those.

    I'd ask:
    1) which bands has he wanted to take on tour as openers, and that for some reason were not able to go on tour. Or bands that he'd like to take out for future tours.
    2) his last 5 vinyl purchases.
    3) if he could give any insight to the way he builds setlists for this tour (I get the impression that these are written just a couple hours before the show?)

Just realized that us Q&A attendees have to be at the R&RHOF by 12PM, while the session starts at 3PM. I wonder if there are any special surprises during those few hours.

I would not be surprised. The Foster Theater is very small (seats about 163), seems like more of a lecture / TED Talk space than a live music stage, so I'm not sure how realistic hoping for a private NIN performance would be (could be getting ahead of ourselves hurr hurr), but who knows, they played on Bowery Ballroom's tiny ass stage (albeit with a lineup that was one less person). If they end up doing something like that I will be overjoyed for anyone who got to go while also wanting to die for sleeping on adding myself to the Discord meetup thread when I had the chance lol. Oh well, as others have related I have been an extremely lucky NIN fan and I'm excited to see what surprises may be in store for those of you lucky enough to go.

Maybe! But my guess is it's just to check in. Show up at noon, tell them you're there, get a wristband, and then they tell you to come back at 2:30 to get seated for the event.

No shit! I had floor tickets to both Cleveland shows, plus Riot Fest (I still went to Riot Fest)! They announced the cancellation of all 2021 shows on my wedding anniversary, too, which sucked extra hard. I just got done seeing them at Red Rocks (night 1), as well as the shows in Troutdale and Bend, so that felt like I finally got my batch of 3 NIN shows, just a year later and in different cities than originally planned. Still, it felt like they had something special planned that would have been R+RHOF-related.

Does anyone know if any former members of the band showing up to fan day? That would be awesome if they did. Jerome Dillon moved back to Columbus so it wouldn't be that long of a drive to come up. Would love to see Richard Patrick and Chris Vrenna since they were there from the beginning.

Didn't Trent mention in an interview awhile back (which I'm unable to find atm) after the first RRHOF show was canceled due to the pandemic that the initial plan was to have previous members of the band come back to perform with the band again? Not too much of a stretch. With Nitzer and Ministry playing however, they would cut into the band's play time to do a long set. The tour schedule for this leg has been VERY aggressive with only a day between most shows. I'm sure the band is exhausted by this point.

    Second this.

    1. Can we get a peek at "THE" NIN collection or a glimpse of his vinyl. Straight on picture of the spines would be pretty cool.
    2. What does Ilan think of being the youngest RRHOF inductee? (I think this is still accurate, but unsure if it was asked on the brady bunch interview)
    3. Did any of our QoTD collab/cover suggestions gain traction?

"Discord winners should arrive at the Rock Hall at 2pm and proceed to Level 0 (downstairs) to check-in at the guest services counter where they will receive a wrist band. A photo ID will be required and must match the name on the registration list. Discord fans will be escorted to the Foster Theater at 2:30pm. NIN Q&A will begin at 3pm."
