^^ That looks REALLY COOL! Wow...

As for Oldboy, looks like it could be a good flick. I DO enjoy Brolin.

I'm SO fucking stoked for that. I loved Sagan's Cosmos, and recently acquired the DVDs, but can't get over the corny production value, heh. I've been praying that baby would get re-done in full-blown HD, and this should do just nicely. Also, there are few people I'd trust to host better than Neil Degrasse Tyson.

Joss Whedon confirms that the Avengers sequel will be called The Avengers: Age of Ultron

He also says that there'll be no Hank Pym in it (say what?) but there'll be more Hawkeye (YAY!).

So: Vin Diesel as Vision? I can see that happening.

ps: we need a comic book movie adaptation thread, darn it. Someone start one!

Mobster: A Call for the New Order

An epic tale of an under cover FBI agent, Billy Marcello, considered to be the mastermind behind the downfall of Cosa Nostra, betrayed by his own agency, and his family murdered by the REDs. He survives and escapes to Rabat, gets taken to be a foreign assassin and lands in a Moroccan prison. Declared dead by FBI and lost in the annals of the forgotten under cover agents, Billy gets a shot at redemption when he makes a deal with the local drug lord to buy his freedom in exchange for his allegiance. After returning to the States, he calls for a new order to wage a battle of epic proportions against the REDs and the system that betrayed him in the first place.

Mickey Rourke is rumoured to play Don Vic Hoza or something. I would love to see him in something else other than Expandables or Sin City in the next year. That dude needs to get back on the horse big time.

I love the guy's acting, but am pretty tired of seeing him act like such a bored prick during press junkets. Yeah, it's rough doing 8 hours of the same questions, who in their right mind would wOH YEAH YOU JUST MADE MILLIONS OF DOLLARS...YOU POOR THING.

I'm not sure about the supernatural element because I think the original legend of the 47 Ronin was excellent in itself but I am going to watch it again and again. Looks like a lot of fun.

Also: Keanu is no longer sad it seems and is in fantastic shape for a man who's nearing 50 years old.

I was wondering about that, too, but eh. It is what it is. There are so many interpretations out there that there was bound to be a major film that had supernatural elements in it sooner or later.

I also just realized that Keanu's beard doesn't seem content with covering his cheeks and is attempting to crawl up to cover his eyes.

I did find Sharknado strangely watchable. Largely due to Tara Reid ageing double the 14 years it's been since American Pie - I got inescapably lost in her crows' feet.

So it looks like Vincent Gallo has another "new" movie, titled April, that we're not allowed to see, much like Promises Written in Water.

I'm reading the book it's based on right now and I cannot wait for this (even though it will have been heavily Hollywoodised, it's still an amazing and fascinating story).

Woah, from the shit casting of Affleck as Batman to the possibly mindblowing alleged casting of Bryan Cranston as Lex Luthor? Hmmm...

Fuck me I hope he will do at least one more, but it doesn't look good...

Similarly to Sean Connery, Jack Nicholson quietly retires from acting.
