Hunters is coming back? Man, talk about an underrated show. I mean seriously. It came out right before the nazi surge so it was probably a little off-putting but god damn it was prescient.

    although Kanye...

    anyway:

Gladiator 2 just sounds wrong to say.

I'll give it a chance, but seems so unnecessary. The first film still holds up, and is better than most modern movies from that genre.

starts out OK, goes a little weird (though the "weird to meet you under these circumstances" line was good), and then goes bonkers off the wall. I'm kind of into this and cannot wait for the "what about the children?!?" outcry by the parents who take their kids to it without looking at the R rating.

This looks pretty faithful to the stories I've read about how Tetris rights moved around back then, should be a good watch.

I recall when this was announced thinking, "A movie about Tetris blocks?" so I'm glad it's not that.

I thought the same thing when I read "Tetris Movie" hahaaa. I'm definitely intrigued, and I always like me some Taron Egerton!

I am not a fan of Bert Kreschier but this looks funny despite him being there. I liked Jimmy Tatro in The Wolf of Snow Hollow and who doesn't want to see Mark Hamill on speed?

Kind of glad it's getting a tv show instead of a movie, it would have been too compressed with a movie.

I have never heard of this series, but, I'm definitely interested based on this trailer. One thing about Apple+: They definitely get top notch casts.

I cannot believe that this show is getting a second season. The first was such a welcome surprise.

This trailer is such a morbid reality bite that is also a weird dark fantasy...like Breaking Bad levels of "you're making the wrong guy the hero here"

I had no idea Mel Gibson is about to start filming the sequel to The Passion of the Christ:

In June 2016, writer Randall Wallace stated that he and Gibson had begun work on a sequel to The Passion of the Christ which will focus on the resurrection of Jesus, and the events surrounding the resurrection.[120] Wallace previously worked with Gibson as the screenwriter for Braveheart and director of We Were Soldiers.[121] In September of that year, Gibson expressed his interest in directing it. He estimated that release of the film was still "probably three years off",[122] stating that "it is a big project".[123] He implied that part of the movie would be taking place in Hell and, while talking to Raymond Arroyo, said that it also may show flashbacks depicting the fall of the Angels.[124][125]

In January 2018, Caviezel was in negotiations with Mel Gibson to reprise his role as Jesus in the sequel.[126] In March 2020, Caviezel stated in an interview that the film was in its fifth draft.[127] Later that year, Caviezel said that Gibson had sent him the third draft of the screenplay.[128][129] Caviezel said that it would be titled The Passion of the Christ: Resurrection and predicted, "It's going to be the biggest film in world history."[130]

In January 2023, a report stated that the film would begin production in mid-2023, with Jim Caviezel set to return in the role of Jesus, also stating that it would be a non-linear, introspective film, and that "other realms" and "dimensions" would be explored. Gibson has also stated in separate interviews that the fall of the Angels and the Harrowing of Hell would also be key parts of the film. Caviezel stated that "the film will shock audiences" and "it will be the biggest film the world has ever seen."[131][132][133]

I like Mel Gibson as an actor/director, but the last time I heard from him he has hucking some feel good juice with a doctor on Joe Rogan.

The movie sounds way too ambitious, and it could be potential CGI nightmare fuel.

EDIT: please make the angels androgynous like the Devil was in Passion.

    Somewhat movie related?

Funko, one of the world’s leading producers of landfill fodder, bought out Mondo last year, and after several months of continuing to spiral, they now plan to cease Mondo’s poster production completely.

The sequel portion focused mainly on Val's character, so, IDK if they just cut it or what. Speaking of Val, I've heard Austin Butler was up for the role of young Shiherlis which I think would be excellent. I also think Oscar Isaac would be a good choice for a young Pacino/Hannah.

And, of course: David Dastmalchian and Liam Cunningham. So much win.

It can't go wrong... can it?
