So is it still the first 13 episodes or are they going to remaster the whole series?

You might need to clear your cache; they were at that point around 2 days ago.

EDIT: S1E14 and S2E24 are not showing up as HD for some people.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but the casting guy mentioned that Gillian will be covering up her mole like she did previously.

David Duchovny looks like David Duchovny but Gillian Andersen does NOT look like Gillian Andersen.

David Duchovny is looking at Chris Carter's hair with amused alarm.

Ahhhhh, I'm so stoked for new X Files! Got myself a brand new spiffy t-shirt from the Fox store!

Gillian Anderson still looks amazing as ever!

-Started rewatching Undeclared, I had totally forgotten about Jay Baruchel tearing up his X Files poster before going off to college!

Just finished season 2. Overall I liked the second season better than the first (which I did enjoy). The series is uneven, IMHO, but I'm looking forward to starting season 3.

Slow! You better kick it into high gear if you expect to be done by January.

    Don't forget the movies either!

Yeah--they came with the set I ordered. I think the first movie was after season 6, which is when you should watch it?

Just saw the one with Jack Black and "Hey Man, Nice Shot." He hasn't aged much in 20 years.

Oh, didn't know that. Yeah, except it's after season 5 and before season 6. Came out in Summer 1998. So yeah, watch it before 6.

    D.P.O. Is a decent episode. 3 has a lot.

    3, 5 and 6.

The worst season to me was 9 and 7.

7 has some GREAT episodes but also a lot of shit. Last half of the season minus Fight Club, Je Souhaite and the finale were crap.

Each his own, I guess... 7 isn't anywhere near the best, but I liked it. 9, not so much... Not sure if it was because they ran out of ideas or what. But 9 was just really lacking. Six is probably the best one, even though it left some huge unresolved storylines that were never tied up, or ever really mentioned again in the series.

Spoiler: Alien rebels did their thing then never seen nor heard again.

A lot of pics of Duchovny and Anderson from local shoots are floating around. I dig this one though...

Whilst I'm beyond jizzing in my own asshole that William B. Davis will be back, I can't help but think...

"Hai guys, CSM was dying, in a wheelchair and we saw his head disintegrate from being hit with a missile... But he transported like Yoda outta that shit that he inherited from aliens but he can only do that, not reverse his age or anything"

how is will that explanation go down? Lol

Agreed. Like I said, it's cool to have returning characters like him but when you have finalized scenes like that there is literally no way that they can have him on again unless...

Spoiler: They go full retard and use a cliche angle of having the CSM from season 7 to the end of the show a clone like past characters like Samantha. Meanwhile the real one was "hiding out."

I can see them using that lame angle.

I honestly would just want CSM in flashbacks.

Haha they probably will. Fans will ask "why did he do that," and they'll be like "just because".

I actually would be okay with having my intelligence insulted slightly with the benefit of ol' smokey being alive in 2015 era mythology. I was so let down in the original finale, I thought his fate didn't seem right. Plus it would be cool to see what his role has been in the shadow government of the post-9/11 world.

For some reason, I'm mostly wondering what M and S have been doing since 2008. Will they be working with the FBI again in any context, or will they be flying it solo. One of my favorite things about Mulder was his constant abuse of his special agent credentials and FBI resources.

Been trying not to click on any production stills since it will just make me impatient.

Not sure if this has been mentioned already. But whether you've seen X-Files or are in the process of watching it now on Netflix. I highly recommend checking out Kumail Nanjiani's X-Files Files podcast. It's fantastic and hilarious at times.
