    A BOWIE Celebration - Concert Stream $25 - Jan. 8

I'd forgotten about this event. Hopefully, someone will be able to archive this stream for posterity.

with streaming being a bitch after a certain number of people, I hope they offer this for purchase/rental after the fact as well. I've stopped even trying to take part in popular live shows because it's always a laggy mess.

I mean, if he wants to revert to his real name that's on him. He's been going by it for 2 solo albums now. I think he hates the reputatiion he's built and wants a soft reboot or something

That said, knowing how much he champions unloved/lesser known works, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him do something like Zeroes (lol) off Never Let Me Down.

+1 for TR/AR/Mariqueen doing The Laughing Gnome. As is tradition.

Interesting that Mariqueen is involved alongside Trent and Atticus. Wonder what they'll end up doing.

It's available on demand for 24 hours after. I plan on trying to capture/download during that period. Haven't done one from this site before, so I'm hoping it's not encrypted.

Did the puscifer one a couple months ago and it was a trivial download, so fingers crossed this one is as easy because i really don't want to have to do a screen capture.

is this where we speculate on what song(s) will feature TR ?

here's an interview with MG from late december: https://fox59.com/news/piano-wizard-...ore-than-ever/

    Sure!

So, Mr. Garson promised both hits and deep cuts, and I would assume (or hope) that TR and co. would deliver some of the deep cuts.
Maybe something from albums that were important to Trent growing up, from the Berlin trilogy or Scary Monsters. I would also LOVE to hear him cover something from Heathen, my favorite modern* Bowie album. Or from The Next Day. I think the track Sunday would fit TR's voice beautifully.

While I would not complain by any means, I think picking from Outside/Earthling would be a bit of an obvious choice.

I'd go safe and say "I'm afraid of americans".

25 dollars for a livestream seems pretty steep. I love Bowie, but I'll have to think about this one.

KISS were charging $50 for the lip synching session from Dubai. I didn't purchase but have seen. Really, how you say, not good.

Wishful thinking, but I hope they cover Scary Monsters.

I hope for something new. Under Pressure with MQ doing Freddie? (Wasn't there a hint of TR doing something Bowie-related but not exactly Bowie at some private performance last year?)

With the specific listing of Trent, Atticus, and Mariqueen separately and not NIN, I'm thinking it won't be anything as loud as 'Scary Monsters' or IAOA. I'm thinking maybe...'Subterraneans' and/or 'I Can't Give Everything Away'?

i peeked at a sample 95 setlist when trent sat in during bowie set and also remembered 2017 bakersfield/fyf and 2018 palladium run. subterraneans or i can't give everything away are inching toward the top with afraid of americans being the "safest" bet

when i saw this tour at wiltern 2017 (?) gavin rossdale sang i'm afraid of americans. he did a good job with it

Thursday's Child has a nice part that Mariqueen could sing...
I try to keep in mind that she'll be part of the performance, so that's my other definitely-not-going-to-happen guess.

PS: I bit the bullet and bought my ticket.

I would love anything from Outside--- Strangers When We Meet and Through these Archetects Eyes are unsung (pardon the pun) masterpieces.
The Hearts Filthy Lesson would be interesting with Mariqueen on Vox. I absolutely love her Peter Gabriel cover of Is Your Love Strong Enough?

Mike Garson is a really really cool dude. Anybody remember when he was doing periscope concerts on Saturday afternoons? That was awesome. He'd usually play, tell stories and answer questions.

I feel lucky that I've seen him play live so many times, even if I never got to see Bowie.

Yes, I mean Bryan Ferry. (Crawls back into my 80's music collection in shame.)

Hope for the latter, but presume the former. Mariqueen being involved adds a nice extra dynamic though, so maybe half and half....

He said they weren't going to play ICGEA anymore. Certainly an excuse here, but I'd much rather hear a new take on something else. The catalog is just too damn good for this to be just a roll out of all the covers people have done over the years.
