This was an interesting read about NIN from the middle of last year. I didn’t know Neil Young has been so complimentary about the Bridge School Benefit performance!

Would've preferred to get his thoughts on The Fragile, but TDS is a much more classic album. If you're going to cover one release from NIN, it's always going to be that one.

Weird! I can see my comment at the top of the comments. Maybe I'm the only one who can see it?

In that Audioboom interview, does anyone know what synthesizer band Trent is talking about that experimented with guitars?

The only band I can think of is Depeche Mode at some point in the 80s.

Oh, for some reason I assumed he was talking about something that had come out fairly recently.

there’s a fundraiser donation point added to the video, I just donated £5 but yes, would be good to have it as audio as well, sell it on iTunes or wherever

It should be noted it is a different cut of the video. Aside from the different aspect ratio, the new upload features more of the alumni band than the original broadcast.

I really love these covers, Fantastic Voyage has some of the best live vocal performance from Trent in years, he nailed those high notes!

On one hand It's cool they get screen time but on the other it comes at MQ's expense.

Edit: deleted "oh well" at the end because it could be misinterpreted. I prefer the original edit of the video.

He put a picture of The Wonder Stuff instead of Pop Will Eat Itself! Which ironically was another band NIN toured with in the UK in 1991 and Trent called ‘the stupidest tour of all time’ ha

    Cool

Melvins make some great sounds, but Buzzo has always struck me as kind of a dope. I was exactly 0% surprised to read that he enjoys playing golf and hates liberals.

None of this really has anything to do with NIN spotting though.

I mean with the headlines like "NIN's disastrous tour with GNR" and "Trent's feud with Chris Cornell" it's basically a youtube version of CoS.
