In all seriousness, this is one of my favourite music videos. Such a massive piss-take.

ah, shit. i can't believe i forgot to mention ANY madonna videos. i feel like almost every single one (from "like a virgin" up through the ray of light era) was groundbreaking and incredible.

"frozen" is probably my favorite, though.

I really appreciated some of the more interactive experiences like this one that put your house's google maps data into an Arcade Fire video.
Doesn't look like the site still works but here's one version of it.

Their Reflektor experiment still works though.

Surprise entry: this one from Justin Timberlake. Six minutes, one shot, one take, full band and chorus recorded live. Whether or not you like the song (I do, but to each their own), you've gotta respect the amount of work that went into this and the skill of both the artists and crew members who pulled it off.

@piggy can't believe i forgot down by the water! it's always interesting when an entire album's aesthetic is perfectty realized. i love that a still from the video (or at least a photo that was taken while it was being shot) is the album cover.

I remember being mesmerized by this video when it came out! I was still pretty young and hadn’t emersed myself in DM, until a few years ago. I thought I was going crazy when I couldn’t find it on their YT channel, looks like they recently uploaded it

Oh, wow! Good catch! Looks like they just uploaded it! I wonder why now? Quarantine/Pandemic craziness?

Anyway, I was looking for it recently, too, and only found it on Vimeo. Glad it's finally more easily accesible! <3

I really love Madonna videos, but I especially love this one; the choreography is super complicated

But I’ll always love this one, too (David Fincher)

And I love this video (David Fincher)

And this video will never not make me laugh (David LaChapelle)

And I will always love this video (Peter Christopherson)
