"Ich will" should be Flake, but I always thought they fucked up with having Paul on the cover twice. I'll try to post some more pics from those sessions as I believe there are some unseen ones in the tourbook.

Also a missed opportunity not using one of these photos for the Mein Herz Brennt cover, even though it was years after the album cycle was over. @dlb if you have some more in that tour book please post the.

Also, I was inspired by a post on Reddit, I've been each night before bed watching some classic Rammstein shows (most off YouTube), so far here is what I've gone thru...




Helps to keep my mind off shit, ya know? Next up is the Dusseldorf proshot, Live Aus Berlin, Rock am Ring 98 and the audience recordings of the Family Values in 98 and St Paul shows I went to in 99. Ahh the good ole days.

edit: some of my favorite moments are Oliver's foot shuffle thing during Der Meister in Bizarre 96. That awsome performance of Seeman with Oliver and Till punching that light bulb out and the flaming sign collapsing during 100 Jarhe Rammstein. Also Till just goes beast mode with the Till Hammer™ throughout the whole show, and you gotta love the early versions of Sehnsucht and Spiel Mit Mir. Finally the extra and unique instrumentation between songs on Bizarre 97 and just quality of the performance is great. That transition period between the first and second albums. Also that intro with Tier and Oliver playing the exploding guitar is sweet. And finally, I'm always a fan of performances of Laichzeit and Herzeleid, totally underrated songs IMO.

More love for Laichzeit, exactly! One of their best songs, also live. The whole live in Berlin thing is total bliss when looking at the setlist. Really tight set!

Only those two poems were released, never recorded according to various sources and the Rammstein wiki.

EDIT: also probably bad news for Europe, an official source told me that the Rammstein camp is buckling up to postpone the stadium tour this year. I'll keep you posted!

So those fan rehearsal shows before the Mutter tour that featured “Sandmann” - that was just Mein Herz Brennt played with an alternate title?

The rehearsal shows featured once again very different vocals for "Mein Herz brennt", but frankly the version they eventually went with is the one that flows best. Here are the lyrics for the so called "live demo" played approx. a year before the record was released and featured on that Knaack bootleg:

Bild Zeitung is the most lousy news outlet in the whole of Germany, yet read by thousands... gossip has it that this was made public so they can grab the insurance for the cancelled/postponed tour.

Either way, all health to Till! His condition is stable as of now.

I just woke up and this was the first thing I saw, but it was the official word from Rammstein that he didn't have the virus and was recovering. I'm glad he doesn't have COVID-19. Still, that was a scare.
Hope he pulls through, corona or not. Pneumonia sucks on it's own.

Several media outlets reported that he has tested positive... fake news in the end. I'll only believe what he says himself and what is being released by the officials. It's strange though that he apparently suffered from pneumonia, which is never to be taken lightly, but of course now more than ever.
