I thought the ambient drones and tones were from a library created by Keith hillebrandt. He essentially made a sample library for Trent and the gang.

    NIN spotting 2020

Not sure if anybody else saw this, but Phoebe Bridgers and Lars Ulrich briefly talk about their appreciation for NIN in this video. Starts at like the 26 minute mark.

I’m a huge Phoebe Bridgers fan, and sort of wondered during a few spots in “Punisher” if she had ever been a fan of Trent’s. Not because her music is even remotely in the same genre, but because she employs little bits of production trickery into her songs in a way that feels similar to what Trent has done throughout his career.

Chesapeake is one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard.

I’m still sort of in awe of how much music she has put out (BOCC, Boy Genius, random collabs with Lord Huron and others - plus her two solo albums!) in the lasts few years. And all of it is good, how she puts out that much good shit so rapidly is impressive.

I love it when my faves love my faves.

I looked around in various threads, but couldn't find this posted. I'm sure it's somewhere. If not....

That is sooo awesome! Punisher and Boygenius were probably the two albums I've most listened to these two last years.
    Thank you for sharing that!

For Aaron fans out there: some podcast interview he did recently

A truly bizarre NIN spotting - there is a TikTok famous cat named Reznor (and the owner confirms he is named after Trent).

This may be my most delightful and unnecessary NIN spotting yet.

I think this is exactly .25% as weird as the whole Old Town Road thing.

Reznor the cat, Ashley O and Lil Nas X need to collaborate for a 476th remix of Old Town Road. Trent can play the sax while Atticus vapes in corner Britishly.

What a blessed experience we could have.

Heard that Billy Corgan did some shitting on Trent during his interview with Howard Stern this Tuesday. I wish I had more specifics but I'm not about to wade into a conversation between those two insufferable narcissists.

Corgan is pretty much irrelevant now, so of course he's going to say and do whatever it takes to stay in the public eye.

Billy Corgan looks like the Great Value version of Stefan Molyneux now.

I love The Smashing Pumpkins, but let’s get real here - Billy isn’t even remotely on the same level in terms of creativity or social influence as Trent at this point.

Let Billy shriek endlessly into the void about his antivaxxer nonsense and his jealousy of better artists.

Preview of the second season of Song Exploder, featuring some Tront footage. Side note: it's bizarre seeing his stuff injected into the middle of the other, more upbeat stuff that's featured this season.

I thought the piano was always there, just way down in the mix. But yeah, not like in this clip.

Photographer Joseph Cultice has been posting NIN photos on his Instagram page lately. Great shots. I think I haven't seen those Closer outtakes before. I'd gladly upload them here but when I try to insert images I can't see them for some reason.

What is there to shit on though? Honestly, I can’t think of anything TR has ever said or done that’s been offensive. To anyone (unless they asked for it). His morals are pretty high up there.

That alternate coiled millipede looks like it might be the photo used for the silhouetted image on the discs.
