Not really new at all. Just discovered this Coil press release which features The Downward Spiral font and also briefly mentions the FDTS remixes.
i peruse YouTube pretty often looking for the newest videos uploaded relating to NIN, and well, I stumbled upon whatever this is.
Um, I guess this is NIN spotting. Richard talks about Pretty Hate Machine.

Don't know who they are, but one of them's t-shirt caught my eyes...
Who wants to bother TR on twitter and ask him to give us these?

I saw on a recent WhatCulture Music listicle that "Only was 100% inspired by Fight Club."
So, this was on a giant, content farm sort of corporate YouTube channel.
I've never heard that one, though. Did I miss something?
Just heard "The Brick" during Thursday Night Football.
So did you see it, then? How in the fuck is this actual proof that the song was inspired by the movie, though?
I mean, I've watched the odd NASCAR race, and seen them discuss racers "slipping into the gap" left by other racers. That doesn't prove that Pushit was inspired by NASCAR, though, right?
I'm actually mad confused, because I trust WhatCulture to a degree. I GUESS that the only real bit of news/spotting, that I can confirm, is that NIN was on WhatCulture last week.
THANK YOU. I am behind on my ETSing and just now caught the convo. If you want a great example of parodying the "NIN sound" without being a cheesy mess (or boring), check out Germs. That song is legit what got me searching for that sound in music, and it stands alone as a great song outside of being a pastiche. I recommend every NIN fan watch the live version, too.
I would love to hear Trent's thoughts on Germs, btw.
Hurt is being sampled/covered on a track here - https://pcmusic.bandcamp.com/album/a...-golden-ticket
Absolutely terrific cover here. Really great
(It's track 17 there)

kinda NIN spotting, worth noting anyway:
cevin key of skinny puppy will be doing a video interview with Charlie Clouser on Sunday. cevin does interviews with musicians on Sundays on his patreon ($2 a month, highly worth it for the interviews and tons of unreleased music. lots of interaction with fans too which is nice ) . the interviews are usually very in depth and not the typical type of interviews you'd get from a publication. they tend to run for an hour 40 mins-2 hrs. he recently did one with Lol from the Cure that was awesome!
I'm sure that there will be NIN talk in the interview. from his interview with Lol, it seems like Danny Lohner is mutual friends with Lol and cevin key. Key briefly mentioned NIN opening for Skinny puppy in 88 too in the interview with Lol.
