I'd love to see one of these from TR. Just shit NO ONE knows from the recording of his albums.

Around the inside label of a t-shirt I got online from Anti Social Social Club has "everyone goes away in the end"

I'm choosing to view this as a deep cut homage. Partially to justify my impulse purchase. I didn't know it said that at the time though.

    it's almost meta.

Not to take this thread too off course, but if you ever get a chance I highly recommend you listen to Kevin Smith tell his story about making a documentary for Prince, it is hilarious and revealing. Prince truly lived in his own universe in every way possible.

This was great. Thank you. I watched 3 of the 4 parts, couldn't find part 4. I think he probably had Asperger's or was at least neuro-atypical in some way and was never entirely in synch with reality, even before he became a star. I appreciate him a lot, though.

Are we referencing something about Meet Your Master and "O-KAY JU-LIAN!", or did I just see that and put two and two together?

I just said that because it says "okay Julian" in that comic strip.

Yeah, I was referring to the comic as well...

Maybe the joke is flying over my head, but I think the comic is trying to be funny and reference "meet your master" but it is failing hard. The comic creator must think the lyric is "oh-kay ju-lian" rather than the popular misheard "god-damn ju-lian"

Either way, huge, huge, huge missed opportunity on the creators front for not writing "goddamn Julian" as a response. *shrugs*

The username is NIN85, it doesn't get much deeper than that. The only meta I was referencing was that this is a message board.

    Okay, Julian?

Sharon is pretty cool, and I really like the way she interpreted this.

Wasn't sure about this when it first started, but as it got going, I really got into it. Very nice cover.

this Sunday at 2, on cevin key of skinny puppy's patreon, he will be doing a live q&a with Chris Vrenna! his q&a with charlie a few weeks ago was AWESOME, well over 2 hours, lots of nin nuggets and even demonstrations of his gear. key's a great interviewer, so I'm looking forward to this!

I have to wonder if he'll ever get Trent on, seems like it's a possibility!

Neil Cicierega came out with another insane mash up album and it's incredible. It's a sonic paradise, a comedy masterpiece and an absolute nightmare all at once.

NIN is in the album. When I heard Closerflies I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. The entire album is a fever dream. Why would someone do this? Why WOULDN'T someone do this?

here is the 2 hr 25 min interview between cevin key and chris vrenna from today. usually, key's interviews are unlisted because they are for paterons (charlie clouser's one is unlisted, also two and a half hours and great), but this one isn't unlisted. HIGHLY recommended. lots of NIN talk in it, especially the early days. enjoy!

Shame that Chris kinda drifted away from answering Purest Feeling question, and I think he also didn't realize it was a question about the whole demo tape, rather than a song

I’m curious who it was that got upset with him editing their vocals on the second Tweaker record.

Ok, wtf at this comment on that video:

    Reaction Is A Weakness

This is what got me into NIN as a kid. I remember the orginal game coming with this curious little "mini" disc and popping it into my Walkman before I played the game. My mind was blown...
