I thought it was pretty clear he wasn't fit for office back in 2016 too, and somehow I underestimated something terribly about his support base. As much as I loathed him, I didn't realize that he was going to be a gathering beacon for white supremacy and actual nazis. I honestly didn't see religious people believing him when he claims he's a really holy man. I didn't think anyone would buy this shit.

Maybe. It's going to be so lame if Trump is re-elected. I will seriously move to Canada. I've got money put aside to buy a small house, and it really is hinging on where I think this country is going to go. If Trump wins, I think this country is fucked. Think about how horrible he's been while he's been primarily distracted about being re-elected.

Calling it that sounds strange though, even if it was a Biden flub earlier....I would imagine it's designed to incite anger when a Trump supporter is presented with facts and difficult to digest (for a trumpian) realities.
Can you imagine a conversation like this:
Sane person: "Look, the fact of the matter is xyz"
Trumpian: "Your facts aren't going to beat my truth! The deep state has gotten to you! Facts are worthless, the truth will prevail!"
I mean, we're pretty much in that state already, this is just actually labelling the facts as an enemy. Wasn't it Guliani who said in an interview "it doesn't matter if it's true or not, people believe that it's true and so it is".
