Keep in mind the incubation period...a negative test today does not mean a negative test tomorrow or next week from an exposure on Tuesday, however unlikely that may be with no direct contact between the campaigns.

Herman Cane was reported to be breathing strong right before he died, so yeah, there is absolutely no way they would say it if Trump had serious symptoms. My bet is that unless he needs to go on a ventilator (which would require Pence to be in charge for that time and couldn't be swept under the rug) he will be nothing but "doing well and recovering strong".

I can't partake in the schadenfreude because I feel it would be disrespectful to those who died from something that could have been prevented so much sooner. All I can say is that when you play with fire you will get burned eventually. Unfortunately, His Imperial Egotisticalness is too malignant of a narcissist to learn the easy way, so he has to learn the hard way. Even then, the lesson probably won't stick. Even if he recovers, he will downplay the severity and will say that because it didn't affect him too badly (regardless of how severe it really is) it really isn't worth shutting down the country and requiring people to wear face masks when outside their own home.
