    NIN Collab Abum Wishlist?

Now that it comes out Trent wants to do a NIN collaboration album for 2020, I figured it would be a good idea for a thread for peeps to post up a wish list of who they would like to see Trent and Atticus work with....Personally I would love to see NIN collab with

    1. Mike Patton.......Patton singing on a NIN song would be too fucking good to be true
    2. Justin Broadrick.....This would be an awesome collab. Rumors were TR was interested in Justin joining NIN back in the day. (Burning Bright Field on Fire sounds like Godflesh more than the last couple Godflesh records)
    3. Alan Wilder....There were also rumors back in the day TR wanted Alan Wilder involved around Fragile era....Alan and Trent together could create some sick sounds

I was going to put Maynard on the list but left him out for obvious reasons....It might bring up memories of that other collab album they did...Whatever it was called

I'd like to see Trent go back to having a bunch of wizards in the kitchen, all participating and collaborating towards his vision. I miss that.

TR co-writing a song with Martin Gore would be amazing.

    Adrian Belew - guitar
    Danny Carey - drums
    Les Claypool - bass

Adding these three progressive rock gods to a NIN project would be very interesting. The five of them collaborating together could make one crazy some kinda psychedelic experience.

I'd love to see Charlie Clouser come back.

Justin Broadrick would be a miracle to happen.

    Cevin Key.

Having seen video evidence they can steal back for Gary Numan his song "Metal" from NIN: The Skaparis Orchestra

Quoting myself, because her last name is hard to spell on a non-Icelandic keyboard:

    Bjork!
I know her last couple of albums were misses, but she's a true artist and I could see them creating very interesting, challenging music...
or, even better, she could go back to her electro-pop roots and they could bang out a chart topping, fun, hit filled album you can dance to!!!!

I loved that score, but didn't know she scored it. Maybe I should check out her other works, can you recommend some?
    I know she did Joker.

Sure! Hildur also collaborated a bunch with the late great Jóhann Jóhannsson, whose body of work is also absolutely tremendous. Together, they scored the film Mary Magdalene starring Rooney Mara, just before Jóhann's unfortunate and sad death last year. He had many friends in the Icelandic music community, I saw a performance earlier this year at a beautiful cathedral in Reykjavík where they performed several of his chamber works. A real shame he didn't live long enough to cross paths with TR & AR.

Colin Stetson in sax as BRoswell Thought up would be AMAZING!!!

    Beth Gibbons in vocals

Gale Ann Dorsey on bass and vocals because of the Bowie connection and her incredible talent

Johnny Greenwood from Radiohead, composing for an orchestra

Steven Drozd - vocals, electronics, drums and drum machine.

i am trying to think about what Trent needs from a collaboration. He needs either a virtuoso on a particular instrument, or he needs someone to push him in some new direction he hasn’t explored yet, to make him uncomfortable. I think this lineup ought to do it.
