Which live incarnation of NIN was his favorite one?

Obviously, the way some of NIN's older songs were played live changed quite a bit over the years. Take Terrible Lie or Head Like a Hole for example. Could he describe the changes over the years, which version felt best. Details like speed changes, or different keys the songs were played in.

Since he wrote almost all the music alone, was there ever a collaborative context (NOT tapeworm), he wished he could have played in? Maybe even just an instrument, guitar (or drums as an unexpected choice) in more of a band context.

Since NIN came up in the early 90s, how well did he know people from the (so-called) grunge scene, like Vedder, Cornell or Stayley. They must've played some festivals together, at least, so I always wondered if there were any close encounters, any plans on collaborations...

Has his way of working changed since his family life started? As in more focussed, because of less time or different approaches all together.

If NIN started in today's music industry, does he think it would have had the same impact?

Could he imagine a NIN live incarnation without him singing?

"What was the concept of the HDTA album?" or "What exactly was your vision for the musical direction of HDTA?".
