Just finished the story for Outerworlds over the weekend. It was a fun game but I had trouble keeping track of how my decisions effected the endings. I had to google a bit afterwards to see what the other outcomes were and if what I ended up wit was a more positive ending. I enjoyed it a lot...until I started playing Death Stranding. That game is consuming my life and I don’t want it to end so I’m slowing down playing it as frequently as I have been.

I finished Terminator: Resistance last night. There was a lot of fan service, which is nice, no cameos by Arnold but at his age, i'm all right with that. Story was pretty standard Terminator fare. Dialog was okay, some mild cheese but it's definitely not the worst i've ever had in a game. The controls are a bit sluggish, I had to turn up the sensitivity which is something i do rarely nowadays. I liked the weapon selection and the fact that the various side missions will affect the ending you get. All in all, I liked it but it was fairly mediocre. Not worth the full $60, although to be fair i paid for 40 of that with reward points.

Probably somewhere in between Aliens: Colonial Marines and Alien Isolation in terms of quality for a film franchise game would you say?

I definitely heard some not-so-bad thoughts about it, this review piqued my curiosity on it the most.

That's a solid review. I will say that the game is miles above Colonial Marines. THAT game is one of my greatest game disappointments. I preordered it and everything. As for Terminator, i didn't run into any glitches at all, and the enemy AI was good and made sense in it's tactics. There is a little bit of stealth but not on the level of Isolation, especially later in the game.

Finally back to work after my long holiday, only managed to finish 2 games (but both were platium'd so i'd say they were worth it) Death End RE:Quest and Horizon Zero Dawn, both were very VERY good games.

Unfortunately nobody got me Jedi Fallen Order for xmas though

The new Blair Witch game is surprisingly pretty damn good. It really captures the creepiness of being in the woods at night and is genuinely freaky at some points. Not sure I'll replay it to get the other endings but the wife and I had a lot of fun running through it over the weekend.

I need to play Axiom Verge...for the first time. I played like an hour or two then moved on to something else for some reason. I love Metroid games too.

i mean if you can't tell by the fact that i keep replaying it, it's fucking great. there are also "secret worlds" you can find via scan-line glitches, and they're randomly generated, in different places each time you start a new game, and sometimes you'll find bonus weapons! the replay value is so good.

link's awakening. got it for christmas, haven't had much time to play it. just entered the third dungeon. it's such a delightful game. and odd af. pretty neat that the story was inspired by twin peaks. it's just as challenging now as it was when i was 12.

Finished Outer Worlds, I liked it but it was short for an RPG. Next, Zelda Breath of the Wild (on Cemu) and Gears 5.

i have played Dead Cells for probably 12-14 hours in the last three days...maybe more? it's so addicting. and i'm glad i haven't gotten frustrated with it. the fact that dying sends you all the way back to the beginning, every single time. but the fact that it randomizes stuff and changes the level layouts every time you play through is pretty cool!

i beat it once, and got to the final boss two other times (once before i beat it, once after).

I’ve been playing Death Stranding now since mid December (about a month and a half). I’ve logged 38 hours so far and think I still have a good quarter of the game left (maybe more). I legitimately don’t want this game to end. I’ll still play it after finishing the main campaign because I love it so much, which often times I find difficult to do with other games. Really happy I started playing this. It’s honestly the most incredible game I’ve played in a very long time.

I just have zero interest in it. I'm fine with exploration, to a degree. This just feels like a chore/job. Not much enjoyment. I hear it gets better. I don't know if i have the patience for that. And if I do, it'll be a long time.

Started The Division 2 with a friend..i quite like it. The voice acting and writing at points is pretty laughable and there are some minor glitches, but the core game-play loop is pretty fun!

I'm thinking about going back to play Banjo-Kazooie again, as I really miss it now, but I'd also have to get it again first, and then also check out Banjo-Tooie to make up for lost time, as I fell off the franchise just right after the first game.

I just got a 1tb harddrive for my PS4 and re-downloaded all the games i couldn't fit...and now i have SO MANY MORE GAMES I HAVEN'T PLAYED YET WHY DID I DO THIS!?!

So far i am currently playing
    -The Division 2 (co-op)
    -FIFA 20 (co-op pro clubs)
-Pokemon Sword (getting ready for Pokemon Home so i can complete my living dex)

Games i have yet to even start...
    -Borderlands 3
    -The Surge 2
    -Gun Gun Pixies
-Hyper Dimensional Neptunia VIIR (this is technically just HDN VII that i've already completed but has a load of extra content)
    -Prey
    -Deus Ex Mankind Divided
-Yakuza Kamai (i've probably spelt that wrong!)
    -Blazblue Cross Tag Battle
    -Gal Gun 2

Games i've finished but would like to replay/finish DLC...
    -The Witcher 3
    -Code Vain
    -Horizon Zero Dawn
    -Doom Ultra Nightmare Mode
    -Dishonered 2 Corvo Playthrough

...do you think i can do all this before Doom Eternal comes out?!

I lent MK11 to a friend because I have no interest in fucking Joker. With that done I've been able to beat the last of RDR2's Epilogue missions. Now to finish Doom (finally) as I have a bad habit of leaving games at 95% done.

I’m still playing Death Stranding. I think I only have about 8 hours left of the story so I stopped the main story missions for a bit to do the side missions. I don’t want the game to end. Usually once a story ends in a game, I’m less inclined to keep playing the side/after missions. Hopefully this will change as I don’t want to stop playing this.

Just started Sekiro and I'm slowly getting it figured out. The timing aspect has been a sharper learning curve than I expected and man, those kills are satisfying when you get them. I have five prayer beads so that is indicative of where I stand with it right now.

It's good but if you don't parry the game is unbeatable. I gave up on Genichiro Ashina.

Finally got a Nintendo switch and played through Zelda breath of the wild. Took 140 hours and have 114/120 shrines.Probably the best open world games I've played. Better than Red dead and GTA5P. I read it took them 5 years to make BOTW

I started playing Grand Theft Auto III again and holy shit.... i caaaaan't deal with these vehicle physics lol and not to mention the vehicles are made of tissue paper.

Did a pay phone mission where you have to go picking up stacks of porn that fell out of a van with another van, you only have 30 seconds or so and OMG i was losing my shit trying to do this. The shitty van they gave you has the worst maneuverability, i ended up rolling the thing over continuously and losing time. Fuck!.... restart, fuck.... restart, FUCK! GOD DAMN IT!

Just realized I never shared this a few pages ago like I said I would. Our interview with two of the writers of Jedi Fallen Order:
