If its value you are looking for, it took me 60 hours to finish one play through so I was actually not too fussed about the price, sure its six years old, but the HD does make it look as good (if not better) than a lot of games simply for the brilliant art direction and that is much longer than say, Uncharted 3 which I loved, but beat in 8 hours and never went back but paid £40 for.
True I'd love a western release on disc though and I understand its not everyones cup of tea. I'm certainly a happy customer.

I just finished the alien base mission yesterday. Took me a couple of re-loads to get through it without losing any soldier. Already lost China, France and Russia in the council, 'though. Haha. Great game!

I'm jealous. I just started a brand new game. I did some reading and discovered that a) satellites give you lots more money each month and b) engineers, NOT scientists are what's important along with some info about which skills to choose. So I'm doing it again and am already faring much better. I've only lost a single rookie soldier in combat (I'd lost like probably 10 veterans in the other game) and am cruising through this campaign now.

Also, snipers are completely worthless. They can't move and fire from their rifle in the same turn unless you take that skill that gives them -20 aim which basically makes them miss EVERY time. So frustrating.

Downloaded San Andreas yesterday. Very rusty. Dying a lot. Still a pretty cool game though.

They do, in Asian countries. Imports wouldn't work I don't think.
The PS3 is mostly region free but there is the language problem if they don't have english subtitles. Of course I say mostly region free, there are exceptions. Thanks for the info though, need to read up and find out how importable it is

Yeah, I thought that too for a long time of the game. But there was a mission where I had to rescue a person that was flankend on all sides by aliens. The sniper I carried with me brought hell down on those bastards.
If upgraded properly they're able to shoot at any enemy in sight of one of your squads soldiers. You have to post them somewhere in the back, not moving at all, taking shots whenever necessary. Their aim-rate is pretty good too.. even at large distances.

Also, I just had my first soldier developing psi-abilities. This game is so much fun.

boom! Platinum trophy for Okami HD. My second one behind Wipeout HD. Worth it though, such a great game.. as I've mentioned a few times.
However this does leave me with a big hole in my gaming time to fill... I have lots of half finished things, but I might head back to Dark Souls as I'm still to beat it. In fact after 17 or so hours, I've only just begun a decent into the Depths.

Bought the Games on Demand Version. Might buy the full game as I'm a stickler for disc copies.

Portal 2 on xbox for Christmas. Wow, kind of depressing but engaging game. They outdid themselves. Now I know what I've been missing.

Depressing? Portal? I found it pretty hilarious.

Enjoying some Enslaved, i was in the mood for something linear and Uncharted-y but with hack-n-slash/beat'em up tendencies.

For fans of adventure games, go get Deponia and its sequel, Chaos on Deponia. Colourful, quirky artwork, typical stuff in terms of puzzles (bizzare item combinations included), but the real treat are the dialogues and overall humour!

Trying to play the Metal Gear Solid games I missed out on eons ago, got the HD collection for PS3.

I've only ever played the first MGS game and that was so many years ago that i have absolutely no idea what I'm doing and i forgot how much the camera positioning in this bugs he hell out of me. With time though I'll get used to it i guess. Always dug the Snake character and mythos, hopefully figure these games out.

Playing Persona 4 on my Vita... its one of the best games ever. Its super story driven, with an emphasis on character devlopment and relationships thats really refreshing. They manage to tie those elements to a deep gameplay system. Totally awesome.

Not only is the one of the best RPG's ever made, it didn't get the recognition it deserved because of being released at the end of the PSONE's run. A shame there was never a sequel or reboot.

About halfway through Uncharted 3. Been in an "adventure" mood (indiana jones, etc), so the Uncharted series is only appropriate. Not sure what i'll play next. Mostly killing time until DMC comes out.

Picked up MW3 and Black Ops 2. Just finished MW3 this weekend and started playing online. I always hate it at first when you're not familiar with the maps. I look like a noob sometimes even though I have a k/d ratio of 2+ in MW2.

When you play Black OPs 2, before you go online, play bootcamp first. You'll get the experience the game first, explore some of the maps and it won't count against your KD ratio.

Thanks for the tip. I appreciate it.
I can't believe how many campers there are in MW3. It's insane. It wasn't so bad in MW2.

Just started Demon's Souls - Managed to complete Boletaria castle so far (but ended up having the good knight killed as I accidentally slipped over a ledge too early so although I saved him he ran into other enemies). God this game is a bastard though, you can have hours playtime and end up just back where you began with absolutely nothing to show for it except you've used up ALL your moongrass so then I have to start with a new character.
Also I have to wait till the kids are in bed to play it as I've never told a game to fuck off so many times ever
