I want to buy a new hairdryer. Recommendations?

What kind of models do you use? Which is especially recommended?
I've always had only cheap models, but I would like something more "premium".
It would be important that it fits well in the hand and is not too heavy. And it should not turn off due to overheating after a short time. I have thick hair and the drying process takes a little longer.

We bought a hotel-style hair dryer that hangs on a wall to save countertop space in the bathroom.

Hair dryers are all just hot coils with fans blowing over them. I would recommend visiting a nearby salon and speaking to folks there. Or even a Sally Beauty Supply!

Orrrrr the Wirecutter. Boom. No human interaction required.

If you have very thick hair and therefore the drying process takes so long, I would recommend a hair dryer with ion technology. In addition to the other praised advantages of this technique, the drying time is somewhat shortened, which I find very pleasant. I have recently bought myself this ion hairdryer https://amzn.to/2PjpkAk and am very happy with it.
Hope I helped you a little bit

Please tell me that OP and markoo are the same person, just in a really shitty attempt to make it look like one user is offering a great review of a product that the other inquired about. Because otherwise, this thread just REALLY makes my head hurt.
