I like it a LOT
I like it a LOT
I couldn't get into it.
But I really liked the song they did for the Death Stranding game, called "Ludens"
Really thought I was going to hate this, but I found myself loving every second of it. It isn't mind blowing or groundbreaking, but their execution on this track for this type of sound I think they knocked it out of the park.
OK i was really critical of their last album, but Ludens really did grow on me, and this new track fucking SLAYS! ...maybe i should give that last album another go...
It's fun! Kinda reminiscent of Linkin Park in places, but it's catchy. Also, LOVED that music video.
well, this is clearly not for me. Production is good.
Song is fun, could go alongside That's The Spirit material, and the video/art direction is really cool.
For all of their absolutely bullshit, BMTH has song terrific songs that span their entire catalog.
It Never Ends is one of the top BMTH tracks. Some of my faves:
The only bad BMTH record is count your blessings
Love Count Your Blessings for what it is.
...i don't know who's idea it was to just release random stand alone songs, but if it means we get more of this, Ludens and Parasite Eve i'm fucking game! These 3 songs alone blow away everything on the last album!
Really enjoyed the track as well as the video.
That's pretty groovy.
Seems like they are just going balls to the wall and making whatever at this point and I can totally respect that, even if it doesn't always hit. I'm ALL for collaborations and this one works pretty well.
I liked Yungblud's first record, but everything he has released this year so far has fallen flat, up until this.
This is a well received collab between 2 relevant artists in the alternative scene right now.
I really enjoyed it. BMTH has been on a roll with their songs lately.
Video was funny and well done as well.
I read something that BMTH just wanted to focus on making standalone songs here and there rather than full length albums.
Whatever they are doing, seems to be working either way. Hope they keep it up.
Didn't enjoyed Parasite Eve but I'm digging this one a lot, amazing track.
Surprise record release from these guys on Oct 30th.
Featuring the previous 3 songs released, Ludens, Parasite eve and Obey + 7 new songs.

Interesting news and I wonder if there will be a physical release?
Both physical and digital (and a WHOLE LOAD OF OTHER OPTIONS!)
https://shop.bmthofficial.com/
There's a track list too...
- Dear Diary,
- Parasite Eve
- Teardrops
- Obey with YUNGBLUD
- Itch For The Cure (When Will We Be Free?)
- Kingslayer ft. BABYMETAL
- 1x1 ft. Nova Twins
- Ludens
- One Day The Only Butterflies Left Will Be In Your Chest As You March Towards Your Death ft. Amy Lee
...i NEED that Babymetal colab!
Based off of the previously released tracks on this release I'm fairly excited to hear the rest.
They said fuck it, let's just release another album. Hope the other tracks live up to the previous releases. Just went through Sempiternal again... Dam what an album.
Another banger...clips of Kingslayer going around are also very exciting!
Teardrops is banger
Kingslayer feat Baby Metal is leaked also, it's on that site that rhymes with Twin Peaks c:
OK i just got a link to KINGSLAYER...
HOLY FUCKING SHIT, THIS MIGHT BE MY FAV OF THE LOT!
That'll do, pig.
Kingslayer slays. That is all.
Already listened to the ep, wasn't expecting this from them in 2020, it's AMAZING.
The features are the highlight of the album for me. Never heard of BABYMETAL but I cannot help but hear Grimes when I listen to them; funny they both became relevant in the same year.
Kingslayer and Ludens are the weakest for me (Never cared for Ludens when it was released) but it still fits into the album well.
Track with Amy Lee is super beautiful and haunting at times. I really tip my cap to the band for being able to pull off a track like this and to end the album off with. Overall, this slaps. Dear Diary, Parasite Eve and Teardrops are my faves.
Edit: Still, Parasite Eve is one of the best tracks they have ever written and one of my favorite intros to a song.
