I saw that one too, he is a really creative guy. Robin was in that episode too, and while not a very good interviewee, was cool to hear him talk about his gear. Is there anything out there where Atticus talks about his live rig?

Joe Sill, director of the badass new indie film STRAY, talks about working with/directing Trent & Atticus on the Apple "Visions of Harmony" short film (10:50 mark)

    http://www.theqandapodcast.com/2019/...-joe-sill.html

Props to Joe for, like Jonah Hill on Howard Stern, correcting the interviewer ("AND Atticus Ross"). Also, try not to cringe when you hear "The Nine Inch Nails."

Spotting #2: Joe gave co-star of STRAY (and Japanese rock star) Miyavi a playlist featuring "a ton of Trent Reznor" when preparing for his role:

    https://www.forbes.com/sites/emilysi.../#6ddd8264758d

Side-note, I remember being in awe of the "Visions of Harmony" short during the summer it came out. A few months later, in the middle of a bad break-up, a filmmaker friend of mine reached out to me saying that a friend of his named Joe Sill had seen my storyboards for a Lindsey Stirling music video we worked on & was interested in me for his first feature film (aka STRAY).

I started emailing with Joe and got to see the concept art and 'look book' for STRAY – with all the visual references to David Fincher and Denis Villeneuve, and more, I could tell immediately that Joe was a kindred spirit. Working with him was a dream gig. Aside from being exactly the type of movie I'd want to storyboard for, he provided copious location photos, barely had any notes, gave me ample time, and invited me to set (still wish I could've made it to that).

I don't think it dawned on me until months later that he was the director of the Apple short that TR & AR scored. Long story short, working on that film really gave me a reminder of my self-worth when I needed it most. Genuinely can't wait to see what Joe Sill does next.

Ghostemane has been covering Head Like a Hole these past few weeks, and it's a fairly faithful rendition.

There’s a new interview with Rob Sheridan in the Pod Like a Hole podcast, but the Nine Inch Nails related scoop is that:
John Crawford is back as art director (at least for the second batch of the LP reissues), and Rob is involved again!! (He’s contributing/consulting/co-art directing the With Teeth LP package). I doubt that Rob is going to be coming back in an extensive way to NIN, but it’s cool to see them working together on something and on good terms.

as for Rob related news: his comic book series (High Level) has been scaled back to 12 issues (from an original 18), which sucks, but it’s great and you should really check it out!

Nada. Though I did check on the order itself and it says 'backordered' now for whatever reason. I'm sure it'll ship out eventually.

Forgive me if this has been posted, I couldn't find it in any searches, but rapper lil nas x has a song using a NIN sample and Billboard removed it from the Country Chart for not being "Country" enough https://www.tennessean.com/story/ent...ad/3304830002/

Looks like it samples 34 Ghosts IV. I had to look that up because I could clearly hear it, and I knew it, but I couldn't remember where that sample was from.

I just heard that, and was coming here to post it. That's a trip. YEah, I saw the story and looked up the song and was like "wait a minute..."

Nice TDS reference in Sunday’s New York Times crossword puzzle (74 Across):

Note 10 Down (EARGASM), 100 Down (ERASE), 72 Across (ARENAS), and 36 Down (SRO) to round out the mini-NIN-theme.

This is the new show from the guy who made the movies The Doom Generation and Nowhere. Some true 90's throwbacks right there.
Holy crap ! just when I tought it will never happen, season 1 is finnishing on the weirdest end of all ends but it concludes on BEGINNING OF THE END (LADYTRON MIX) ! It's the coolest thing ever, since Doom generation started on Heresy. So the full season of Now Apocalypse is available, it's a very classic Araki thing, and is all about sex, gays, and relations, the apocalypse part is ... very small and kinda just for fun.
Other cool things about it : there's also Ladytron's Destroy anything you touch, and guest apparences of James Duval and Johnathon Schaech, the two stars from Doom generation (but not Rose Mc Gowan) and also ... Henry Rollins !

It's a parking lot bootleg from the Fragility 2.0 tour. I have the same one in my closet, I'll shoot over some pics tonight if I can remember to dig it out.
