Jacob Bannon (Converge) designed a limited to 200 18x24 print for Revolver magazine's TDS special, and for only $33.33 you can be damn sure I preordered one.

I’ve seen this posted in like 4 places and I keep feeling like my chance of getting one on Friday is getting smaller and smaller, hahah.

Edit: Fuck it, I’ll be fine. Got one!

Oh man, those links led me to the video from March 5th 2019 where Fred Durst butchered Heart Shaped Box; along with Marilyn Manson.... with Billy Corgan sitting next to them.

Which reminded me of this video ...

    What is happening!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry if this isn't actually new and has been mentioned, but I caught this on YouTube, where it's 5 days old. It's an Australian news special about murderers who lie on TV. I think it's sort of like 20/20 or Dateline. It's called Sunday Night, I think.

    2 Ghosts 1 starts at about 10:38

Edit: there's some other instrumental music on the soundtrack that I REALLY like; I wonder who made it

There's a documentary on the BBC about the history of film music which has a small clip with Trent and Atticus in it towards the end (an interview and footage from the Oscars). Originally from 2016 it seems but new to me: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episod...st-soundtracks

Also a brief mention in the Soft Cell documentary, which is new: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episod...o-wave-goodbye

I saw they've got interviews up with HIDE (who everyone here should absolutely look up if they're into industrial music) and Lingua Ignota's Kristin Hayter, who is one of my absolute favorite people in music. I saw Chelsea Wolfe is on the cover of the issue as well. It seems like that magazine has come a very long way from when I was reading them in high school and everything was about Five Finger Death Punch, Halestorm, A7X, and other stuff of that sort.

Some episode titles from the new Gregg Akari series "Now Apocalypse":

    - This is the Beginning of the End
    - The Downward Spiral

    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8201814...f_=tt_eps_sn_1

This is the new show from the guy who made the movies The Doom Generation and Nowhere. Some true 90's throwbacks right there.

Mumford & Sons cover Hurt, the voice is definitely Cash-esque although it’s in Cleveland - I only heard the first few lines, done in a bizarre slow way, not keen although if I get more time to listen perhaps it improves

I'm curious about interesting ideas but I rather want accuracy. Ignoring the whole TVT drama and not mentioning how Broken got made as context to "...it was easy for him to find funding..." doesn't work well for me.

I’d love for someone to do a documentary on that whole TVT thing, watching the Defiant Ones it’s a fascinating story and it seems integral to how Trent got so ‘precious’ about NIN for want of a better word.

I think it's fairly easy to track it. He brings his first solo work to TVT (and others), TVT likes, nurtures it and him a bit, send it and him off to mature (additional production) and when it come out, the "authority" hates it. He still gets to love and and tour with it but the authority does not approve. And not only doesn't approve, it grudgingly takes a large chunk of profit from it but also wants to squash it. And bury him. But he is cunning (and so very desperate looking for avenues to get escape [help me i am in hell]) and he has some new friendly to help me make further connections. And others see the goodness that can occur if he's allowed to do what he wants and not get into too much debt in the process (scum bag management notwithstanding). His, uh... wish comes true and TVT is bought off (slowly... slowly...). But if that doesn't lead to preciousness (and playing Doom often), I'm not sure what does.

When TVT claimed the opposite, one of the examples I read on the very early Trent billboards messages, is the black sin single, it was black because TVT didn't want to spend money on golden.
