He is. He's just lying. Just like how he thinks the Bible is the best book ever written, and the second-best book is Art of the Deal.

I better not see this motherfucker in a cowboy hat, which he said he "wished he could wear" in what will go down as one of the great speeches in American history. I CAN get away with a cowboy hat, despite the long hair and piercings, because I'm a fucking texan. I can and do.

I'm sure President Quixote can find some other style of hat, because he is DON QUIXOTE!

    (No offense to Don Quixote)

Schiff issues a subpoena on this Russian spy whistleblower stuff (Trump and Barr attempted to hand spy over to Putin to have spy killed), this shit’s getting crazy (several resignations, hoping Bolton knew something). Trump most def is a Russian asset. But so is BARR.

I'm praying that this sabre rattling with Iran is the part where Captain Asshole surprises us, and somehow doesn't fuck up. Otherwise, it might be WW3. I've LITERALLY prayed about it.

Saudi Arabia is going to want someone to pay for this attack, right? Don't we almost HAVE to do something, considering our bizarre relationship and history with SA?

If there is to be a response, I hope it's a drone strike or something, that doesn't kill a bunch of people: a show of force, if you will.

We really, really don't want it with Iran, I don't think.

There is the deeply cynical part of me that wondered if this was funded by some other agency. Incumbent, wartime presidents are often re-elected.
I really don't want WWIII to kick off.

Since we basically live inside one giant conspiracy theory now, I'll just throw this out there.

Last week, SA was all "we need to jack up the price of oil or we'll never make our budget." Now, they have an excuse to do so.

    Hmmmmmmmm.

a little war in the middle East would probably help the current administration at the polls, especially if they can claim some sort of looming victory against "terrorists" is on the horizon. (Edit: Like @Magnetic said.) My mind definitely went to those places. These are strange fucking days.

"winning" a war is an old tried and true technique. wouldn't be surprised if Trump did this (i.e. proclaim "victory" ) over the next 6-12 months to "boost" himself. desperate people tend to do that in some cases. he's one of those cases.

well sure, of course... but you know who really, desperately wants to be re-elected because his ego can’t handle losing, and is also a little concerned he might go to jail if he isn’t? Trump will start the mother of all wars if he thinks it helps his election odds.

oh, dude. I agree, 100%. I just mean that war with Iran could ...I've always thought it would be The Big One. They HATE us, and do not give a FUCK. And, God knows who might come to their defense.
I HOPE the aforementioned ass hat shares my fears and treads very fucking lightly here.

Trump isn’t really known for making prudent, considered decisions that take the well being of others into account and places those needs above his immediate self-interest... he’s just not “that kinda guy.” He’s more like the kinda guy who will tweet stuff like “poor me, being president is costing me billions cuz I’m a stable genius who has never paid off porn Star mistresses, I’m tariff man, Little Rocketman better send me a beautiful letter or who knows I might do something fucking crazy, and I’m mad as hell at Bette Midler”

I mean... just... this fucking guy... The Onion can’t make this shit up. Our president is so bad at his job that satire isn’t funny anymore

Yeah I initially thought they did it to themselves, too. To raise the price of crude oil. SA has been bitching that it’s too low for a while.

Except the Houthis claimed responsibility, and they have Russian weapons from Iran. It’s entirely possible, no LIKELY that the Houthis did it (using Russian tech and weapons via Iran). Iran denies direct responsibility and if Iran had done it they’d SAY they’d done it, but they have NO REASON to do it, they don’t want in on that battle.

This is all Pompeo and likely a vestige of Bolton (he HATES Iran).

Now, Russia, in an attempt to be helpful (heh heh), has offered to sell the same weapons to the Saudis.

    https://www.newsweek.com/russia-saud...e-iran-1459510

Note that Putin is acknowledging that Iran provided (Russian) weapons to the Houthis, and the Yemen Houthis hit the Saudis (not Iran, as the U.S. is claiming).

Putin wants to profit from the whole thing. And take away the U.S.-Saudi arms deal - LOL.

However, Moscow has been attempting to serve as a mediator between Yemen and the Saudi - UAE forces since the civil war began. Negotiations and de-escalation is in everyone’s best interests, which is why Congress tried to stop the Saudi arms sale - but didn’t have enough votes to override a veto.

And now the U.S. is partly responsible for nearly 85,000 Yemen children starving to death.

So is anyone watching Lewandowski testifying in front of the Judiciary Committee today? You think he'll reveal anything new that hasn't been revealed in the Mueller Report?

I don't think it will matter if he does. Nothing matters anymore, because nothing is real.

I see a lot of common people thinking Iran is kinda the same thing as Iraq. it's not! Iran can really fuck us up, and badly. "bigly" as orange man says.

OK, so what did the orange clown promise to Putin while an intelligence official was listening?

    https://nationalpost.com/news/world/...nce-is-worried

I mean, obviously he's made him lots of promises, but which one did he accidentally make while being monitored by US intelligence agencies?

until we know more, like which foreign leader and what the promise entailed... I dunno. But Trump's refutation of it doesn't work. Why would a member of the US intelligence risk their position and hire a lawyer to blow the whistle on something "alarming." S/he's not profiting from it.

EDIT: This is getting crazy fast

Sorry, but according to the constitution, it's not.

    https://www.nbcnews.com/think/opinio...can-ncna848651

The USA is not at war with the Ukraine. The constitutional definition is super strict.
